Another fantastic weekend at Elterwater Park , stayed in the Low Barn self catering . Great views and east access to the Cumbrian Way. Nearby walks to Elterwater and Langdale  valley provide plenty of choice for pubs and eating out without the need to drive , will be visiting again soon

Located in a very picturesque part of Cumbria, Elterwater Park is ideal for walking and tourism. A wonderfully warm and comfortable house with every facility to make your stay first class. Beautiful en suite rooms, stylishly furnished, a well stocked kitchen and adequately supplied with toiletries, kitchen rolls, dishwasher tablets, kitchen rolls and a good starter pack.
A great place for family, friends and one dog.

We have enjoyed quite a few visits staying in the self catering barns.The location is stunning and a great base for walking as it’s on the Cumbrian Way .Beautiful gardens and a large farmhouse which would be fantastic for large family holidays.
The hosts Liz and Dave are very welcoming !The perfect place to return to after a hike , the Muddy boots honesty cafe is cosy with a log burner ,hot drinks and even fizz and mulled wine, we didn’t want to leave !
We will definitely be back !

Recently returned from a 4 day break at  Elterwater Guest House ,having stayed in The Byre self catering barn . 
Excellent comfortable accommodation with 2 large double bedrooms and cozy lounge area.
The on site Muddy Boots honesty cafe is a great little facility for mulled wine and cakes for winter evenings. will definitely be staying again , thanks to Dave and Liz for their hospitality

An amazing setting. The ex guest house layout works brilliantly for adult children with partners. No short straws on the rooms - all big and en suite. Kitchen is where the heart is for this place. 5 car spaces. Thoroughly recommend. Will book again.

This is a beautiful place to stay. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this is the place. A stunning location is matched by the standard of accommodation. The rooms are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, the food is delicious. Don’t look any further, this is the place you want to stay.

An excellent stay at Elterwater Park guest house. It’s in a perfect location, tucked away from the business of Ambleside but walking distance to the villages. If you’re after peace and quiet this is the place to go. Lovely guesthouse run by really friendly people. Will definitely be back

Love this place!  Bit off the track but oh so worth it!  Lovely accommodation and great breakfasts!  Lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for us!  Highly recommend!  Great access local pubs. Unique and lovely!

Tranquil location with amazing views/sunsets and stunning walks over the fells from the front door, owners attentive/friendly and unintrusive, quality breakfast (with some fine local ingredients) tailored to your requirements, ample parking, beautiful garden to sit out in, good wifi in the farmhouse, clean/comfortable and well furnished accommodation with sensible covid precautions (which did not diminish our experience). 
Couldn’t ask for anymore - excellent value for money in our opinion.

This was our third visit to the Guest House complex. This time my wife and I stayed in the Grain Store with our 2 small dogs. We have previously stayed in the Low Barn.
The Grain Store has a brand new kitchen with a full size cooker and two ring hob. It has a lovely small patio at the back with great views. I have a food intolerance and it’s so much easier for us to self cater and the kitchen was perfect for us to cook all our own meals. Booths in Windermere is ideal for stocking up if you are doing a fair bit of cooking. We found the accommodation first class and David and Liz very friendly and helpful. There was a power cut one day and David quickly updated us and moved our cold food into one of his freezers. Yes, things are very different with the Coronavirus outbreak but David and Liz are doing a good job of trying to keep their visitors as safe as possible. When we stayed before our dogs were not allowed in the main living area and we knew this before we booked. The child gate worked well by allowing the dogs to see us and we could keep an eye on them. Despite the lack of WiFi we managed well with 4G and had moderate phone coverage. We knew this was the case prior to booking. We look forward to returning soon.

6 nights in The Grain Store late August 2020

A brilliant B&B - amazingly beautiful location, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast (with so many options and very high quality!) and lots of smaller touches that make the stay perfect. Perfect hosts who make you feel very much at home. I honestly can't think of a single thing that could make Elterwater Park any better than it already is!
