When we arrived, we went to reception to check in, however the staff did not speak or understand English so we had no idea what was going on really (this was an occurring problem in all of the hotel – the lack of basic English (poor communication and customer service). A man stood at the reception picked up our cases and we just followed him which we realised he was taking us to our room, we were so excited but as soon as we opened the door we were lost for words. The room was filthy! We didn’t expect much as it was so cheap but it was in NO WAY cheap enough for what we got. The floor was dirty, there were cotton buds, hair, dirty towels everywhere, the bins were full from the last people there, the beds were made up with just one dirty bed sheet, a pillow each and the thinnest blanket ever acting as a duvet and the curtains were hanging off the window. Our room was advertised as a room with a kitchenette, however all we got was the overhead of an old school grill with no actual grill underneath, no hobs, no kettle, nothing. We had a very dirty fridge which we could not put our food in. The cupboards smelled of mould and damp and the bathroom was appalling, the shower leaked every day and flooded the whole bathroom ruining our own belongings, towels, shoes etc. We informed a member of staff of this and he couldn’t understand a word we said and just left. We were not informed how to lock and open our door as it wasn’t a standard door lock. In our room, we had a tiny box television and the Wi-Fi advertised did not work for half of the stay, reception explained that it was not working every time we asked with no reassurance of when it was going to be fixed. This was our first holiday abroad alone and as you can imagine our families were worried sick as we had no way of contacting them to let them know we were safe. There was no air con or safe even though advertised when booking which was disappointing as the heat was over 37 degrees in the daytime, we were having to keep our doors open which was completely unsafe as we didn’t have a safe. The next day we were met by a holiday rep whilst we were eating lunch (to which we had no idea we were scheduled to do so we missed breakfast) who explained to us that he had waited until 12pm that night for us to greet us but because we hadn’t arrived until late he decided to go home. We told him that nobody explained anything of the holiday to us, not even when or where we went for our all-inclusive food and he was shocked that nobody had bothered to tell us anything. 

There were 2 swimming pools located on site, one was a more family orientated pool with lots of extremely loud music playing every day from 11am through until 12:30am the next day. The family pool was very, very deep with no signs of the depth at all and was very dirty around the bar area. One day whilst we were there an accident had happened with one of the poolside umbrellas not being secured enough and falling over forcefully pushing 2 children into the pool drowning 1 of them. The family were in that much shock that they decided to go home early which is what I wish we had the choice of doing from the beginning. The second pool was in a quieter location but also didn’t have the depth of the pool marked anywhere which in my opinion is so unsafe especially as somebody who can’t swim. The poolside bar and the slide were awful, neither were never used and looked rusty like they had never been in operation. There was a small children’s pool which seemed fine the first time we saw it whilst children were playing in it but after a couple of days the water had gone green with all sorts of plants coming up out of the filters, it was absolutely shocking, and over the week we realised that the main pool was not cleaned once! The pool was absolutely full of plants and rubbish. We decided to eat our dinner around the main family pool one of the evening but as we were sat there we noticed a member of staff pouring a yellow substance directly into the pool – god knows what this was but it was really strange and by the look on everybody else’s faces they were concerned too!

We knew not to expect too much from this holiday as it was a budget all-inclusive holiday but the levels of cleanliness, unhelpfulness and inorganization of the holiday was so disappointing. Not one member of staff could talk English, we didn’t get a warm welcome which everybody hopes to get, no goodbye/thank you, even including the housekeeper. 

If you find a cheap deal for this hotel, avoid it! We spent most of our holiday in the pools of other hotels on the beach front which were much nicer - we wished we'd paid the extra for the nicer hotels. Not worth 1 penny!

Worst hotel ever!

Absolute hell-hole that leaves you damaged after your stay. It is the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed at. Avoid it. Not even worth staying there if it was free. Don't think it is worth being basic because of the cheap price because it certainly isn't. Do not let it put you off Marmaris, or Turkey as a whole. There are plenty of other budget hotels in Marmaris that are clean and wonderful.

My sister and I visited the spa after a recommendation from our hotel. We were greeted by an English lady who offered us a great deal of 5/6 treatments for £30. All treatments were fine apart from the facial. Avoid this!!

My skin wasnt terrible with a few black heads in the t zone. The lady steamed my face and then used a pore extractor to push down extremely hard all over my face. She didn’t just do the T zone she did all of my face. My eyes were watering and my face began to bleed. My skin was very sore and red all over. 

The next day my skin increased in redness and it was clear it had been damaged. My face was a mess.

I went back to complain and the Turkish lady behind reception claimed “it was normal”. This is extremely concerning that this is normal!! The English lady was extremely quiet and it was obvious she didn’t think it was right but remained silent. I was not offered a refund.

Please avoid this spa. Their lack of knowledge and poor customer service is unacceptable. My skin was ruined for the remainder of my holiday and I could not cope with direct sunlight on it/make up. 

My sister also had damage on her forehead and chin. It looked like we had been attacked by an animal!
