Good place, with a Nice rooftop. Pleasant staff (reception or breakfast.)

Stayed here in October 2025 and it's a wonderful hotel. Super friendly staff always willing to help, comfortable and clean. walking distance from the city center and easily accessible.

Too bad no hot air balloons today.Got to go back to Istanbul as wife dialysis session coming.

It was a good hotel, good for the price, had a good breakfast too.

We loved our stay at Katapa Stone House.  The breakfast was delicious, with the most beautiful view of the area.  There was a beautiful view of the balloons, and you could even see one of the take off spots from the roof. We were close enough to easily walk to town but also in a quiet area. We were also able to hike to Love Valley to see the balloons as well.  We would definitely stay here again!

The staff are incredibly welcoming. Located central to most activities Kapata Stone House was a great place for us on our first time to Cappadocia. We were sad to leave, but if we return would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at Katapa was absolutely amazing. They have rooms enough for a family of 5 but it wasn’t really a room. It had separate sleeping areas so we could still have privacy. Parking was easy and right on site. The service was phenomenal. It’s a small family run hotel, which made us feel like we’re staying with family. From the cleanliness to the delicious breakfast and awesome customer service (arranging airport pickups, coffee, utensils etc) PLUS it was a 10 minute walk from “downtown” area where we coukd go shopping and eat at all different restaurants and for the highlight….the hot air balloons took off at sunrise right in front of the hotel so it made for amazing pictures! we really could not ask for a more pleasant stay. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Great stay, excellent breakfast and location. Staff was impecable in their attention to detail.

A very short walk to the shopping and dining. Terrace has an amazing hot air balloon views. Excellent service and hospitality. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff - Hasan is excellent, we arranged all our activities etc through him, super fast and efficient. Lovely breakfast, large variety of food. Hotel was clean and welcoming, room service and cleaning daily if required. Nice location, just off the main drag but close enough to walk the short distance to town.A little tight with toilet paper, had to ask for more nearly every day, but that is the only negative. Overall, I would definitely recommend Katapa Stone House.

The service was excellent and everyone was willing to help.  the breakfast was amazing with good flavor and taste. all organic of course! they had a great terrace view of all the hot air balloons in the morning and throughout the day. location was great as it was set away a bit from the hustle and bustle of the city, which lead us to walk. activities were easily arranged with the office and was done even on a last minute schedule. walking was good for us as we needed to walk off the good food for better digestion. overall an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again!

Cappadocia views

This property’s best part is its chef. Narmeen. She was an awesome host and made us feel at home. Views from the terrace were also nice part and the front desk manager Furqan was polite and respectful. The property is definitely not 2 mins walk from open air museum. But it is walkable and market is 2-4 mins walk which is good as the market is center  of Göreme. There were minor issues staying at property and front desk personnel was helpful. Some recommendations were also made to them hope they do better with future reservations.

Very nice place! Important to note- hotels.com map showed it in downtown Goreme, hotel was actually 10 min walk north of downtown. not a problem for us, but important to know when booking. staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. the room had a refrigerator and a safe, but neither worked. those would have been good to use.

Almost there:)

The staff went over and above for all of their guests and they were quite accomodating, which is really appreciative. Farkhan was the main contact for the hotel and Nermin was the chef. Both never failed to follow up with anything and always made sure that things were top notch. Everyone at the hotel made us truly feel like it was our home away from home. The area is walkable to the town's shopping and amenities. Farkhan also helped us booked some tours while we were there, so that was ease for us. The hotel also has a great roof deck to see the balloons at sunrise. Overall, a great stay!

We are travelling as a couple with 9 months baby.We found the ppl at reception very help and nice ppl, always available to help with any question you may have.The breakfast was exceptional, the nice lady cooks and prepre everything fresh.The hotel was cleaned and serviced every day.The price was very fair.If you are travelling with baby and need baby cot then you may inform them in advance they might be able to help.In our case, we asked late and it wasn't available which we found hard to share bed with a baby - might be our fault.

Mr. Hasan was very helpful and knowledgeable.He was efficient in arranging the tours and Airport transfers as well as guiding & advising about the are.

The staff were very friendly and warm. The location is separate from the crowded areas but still close and walkable.
