Suum Bodrum Hotel & Beach - Adult Only

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at this lovely hotel. It is situated in a quiet area, with a couple of restaurants and small marina nearby, the nearest town is Turgutries a 20 min taxi or dolmus bus ride away. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens, the rooms are very nice with extra touches that make the hotel standout. We asked to be moved as the first room was near the pool and the music played by the pool was disturbing for us, it is mostly background music but volume is turned up in the afternoon and we preferred our room to be not quite so close to this, the hotel were great and did this the next day when a room was available. The food is also of a very good standard, it is al a carte, not buffet, don’t expect a full English, it caters more for continental style. We were all inclusive, the snack bar food was good and evening meals a nice selection but got a little repetitive by end of week, and on occasion some items were finished by the time we went for dinner. The staff were lovely and helpful, although we, and they, had to use google translate at times to be fully understood. It was windy sometimes and the bar is open sided, it could be uncomfortable in the evenings if too windy, it is strange there is no other indoor alternative if weather conditions are not great. The pool area is very nice with very comfortable loungers, the pier is also nice for swimming in the sea, with a lovely view of the beach and surrounding area. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, if looking for a chilled time with a really nice standard of accommodation.
