Lanta Manda

Spent 4 nights here in a fabulous bungalow. I can say that the photos on the booking sites are pretty accurate to how the bungalows actually are. The room was huge with a very large bed which was rock hard. The inside was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. there was a fridge, kettle tea and coffee, free bottled water every day, safe in the room. Large bathroom and a little seating area at the back of the bungalow which was great for drying clothes, also chairs and a table on the front of each bungalow. The rooms are only cleaned every 4 days, and so are the towels I went to reception with our towels after 2 days and asked for a change, within 5 minutes housekeeping arrived with clean fresh towels for us. There are 2 pools at this resort one near the entrance and another right at the the top of the hill, (the property would not be suitable if you had walking problems the bungalows are built going up a step hill ) The top pool only has about 6 sunbeds and 1 parasol it is really hot up there more shade is needed but the pool is lovely. The bottom pool has more sun loungers but again 1 parasol. We hired a moped from reception and went to Lanta old town for the afternoon it was lovely, the roads are not to busy and they are mainly concrete which was nice and smooth. Not too far to the beach, some nice places to watch the sun set with a drink. 7/11 across the road and plenty of places to eat. Reception staff friendly and helpful.
