The hosts, Olivia and Pasquale, are extremely helpful and friendly. My room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable single bed and separate bath.  The price is very reasonable for Basel.  The real surprise was the beautiful breakfast.  Olivia is an excellent cook and you will be sorry to leave.  They are very close to the fabulous museum, Fondation Beyeler, and an easy tram ride into Basel.

Went with my wife and three daughters.This B and B is situated in Riehen.Just off the center of Basel.Book a parking space since not many spaces available.
Tram stop just 15 seconds from the front door.Downtown Basel is easily accessible. Riehen village and it's Museum(Beyeler) are 5 mins.
Rooms and bathrooms are impeccable.Check which rooms have dedicated bathrooms and which have share ones.
Lovely linen.
Breakfast is top class.Freshly baked bread.Homemade jams.Great cheese and bio eggs.
Freshly prepared fruit salad.
The hosts are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
You also get complimentary 48 hour tram cards.
A great choice for visiting Basel and outskirts.

This is an elegant 1930s house tastefully decorated. The hosts are kind and friendly, speaking English, French and German. My room was on the top floor up a delightful staircase typical of Basel houses apparently. It was comfortable and cool in summer thanks to the shutters and the pleasant breeze. The modern, stylish bathroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the conservatory was superb with plenty of choice and great food, if only I could have managed to eat more!  Wifi is free. The hosts are art lovers and have a wealth of information to share about Basel and its galleries. It is a little out of town - too far to walk - but within a couple of hundred metres of the tram stop which runs very frequently and is free for guests. Strongly recommended.
