90 reviewsMy husband and I were visiting from Australia and had a lovely stay at the Wellness Retreat with friends. It was a very peaceful and relaxing eco friendly venue situated on an estuary and lagoon leading to the ocean at Kahandamodara beach. The bungalow we stayed in was very well appointed and comfortable with 2 spacious bedrooms, a lounge, a dining area and ensuite. The bungalows were set apart, opening to lush vegetation creating plenty of privacy and a natural setting. The floating pontoon was a great place to relax and we were served a sumptuous dinner on it, overlooking the estuary. The open dining area added to the enjoyment of being in nature. The pool was a nice size to put in a few laps in the warm water or relax in the surrounding lounges. The onsite avurvedic centre offers massages and kayaking / boat trips are also available. The staff were excellent, providing us with everything we needed, including delicious meals. We will definitely be back !
