This is one of several so-called "Love Hotels" behind the bus stations in Gyeongju. They all look snazzy with plenty of neon lights and kitschy room design. Reception was strange with a blackwashed screen and just a small hole for exchanging money for keys, with no eye-contact with the receptionist. The room however was pretty good, large and with nice furniture and a (broken) jacuzzi in the bathroom. There were condoms and lubrication on the bedroom table but also two free bortles of juice and three bottles of water. Wi-fi was excellent throughout. There was no breakfast on offer but plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. First they gave me a room that smelled heavily from smoke but they changed it immediately when I complained. I think the place is excellent value for money. And, like me, not only lovers seem to stay here. I spotted one or two families as well. I could stay here again, with or without a female companion.

Love Hotel with good rooms and location

Just 2 mins walk from the intercity bus station.  I booked a triple room and the room is much larger than expected.  V. cozy and well equipped.  You can't imagine that there is a table tennis table in the room.  The receptionist can't speak English at all. We arrived in the early morning.  At the beginning she expressed that we could not check in that early but after we pointed to our luggage, she gave us a key.  We don't know why she had changed her mind.  But we got what we wanted!

Good location

I booked this motel via Agoda, but when we arrived at the motel they asked us to pay for the stay,  so we called 1330 for translate and the owner claimed they just changed the ownership of the motel on that day, they do not have my records and therefore, we have to pay for our stay.  Therefore we left the motel and ask for a full refund from Agoda

A place you cannot trust

Yeah, it's a love motel but it's high-end. I've seen groups and families come out. So no worries for the well-meaning. Big room with ceiling mirrors, fridge, big TV, new PC, variable lights, jacuzzi, different little creams, drinks... very quiet.

Yes, yes, yeah, yeah!

We didn't know this hotel was a love motel, and we found it at the reception without seeing the receptionist, but then we found a very spacious room, very rococo with mirrors on all the walls, a huge TV and a computer.

What a wonderful experience!

The Show Motel is located within an easy walking distance of the express bus terminal in Gyeongju. It is also within proximity to 7/11's and Tumuli Park. Taxis frequently pass down the laneway the motel is located in. The location was quiet.

Room was large and pleasantly outfitted with a lounge and plenty of space to move around. Green colour scheme added a pleasant ambience to the room. Bathroom was also spacious with a large spa bath and shower. The only issue here was our spa bath leaked when water was over the inlets - meaning the bath gradually lost water when the spa was operating. 

The room was great value at $50AU/night and we would happily stay here again!

An inexpensive, comfortable motel.

The Show Motel is a love motel located 2 minutes walk from Gyeongju bus stops and bus station. I spent 3 nights there in October 2012 without making a reservation in advance. The room I occupied there was very spacious (large bed, small sofa, low table, desk) and had all the usual Korean comfort (refrigerator, electric kettle, computer, big screen TV, hair dryer). The bathroom was large and spacious. The reception is obviously very impersonal (we are in a love motel) but not unpleasant.

Excellent value for money

This motel is next to the busstation in an area with a lot of motels. Every motel in this area and also Show Motel has the same style: modern rooms, big bath, paintbrush walls and lots of Las Vegas style neonlights at night. This motel has also a popcorn machine in the lobby. Wifi in the lobby, big TV, good bed, warm shower, not expensive, we liked it!
