The Garden Route in South Africa's Western Cape is certainly one of the most beautiful regions in a country that is not short of wonderful landscapes. And Wilderness is one of the most beautiful places there. If your trip takes you there, then we can definitely recommend the Boardwalk Lodge for an overnight stay. Situated in a slightly elevated position and just a few minutes' walk from the beach, the rooms are individual cottages nestled in the greenery like chalets. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. All important areas, such as the charming breakfast room, can be reached via wooden stairs. The two owners, Chris and Melissa, have created a real gem in one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. And there's no doubt that we'll be returning here on our next visit to Wilderness.
