We arrived to Valcea from the Transfagarasan amazing high way in the way to Bucarest, We were tired after a beautiful day  in the snow in October. We sto toeat at the New Orleans Restaurant, Were they served us great! they kindly help us to find the Motel, already  late at night, but very easily We stop in the park lot, the lady in the reception , help a lot! they reduce a little of the  price,  She and her husband help us with the car and the bags the American breakfast and the coffe very good! they have a exotic patio to enjoy the morning!

The perfect option to stay traveling in Romania by car

luckily, we stayed there for just one night. 
- no possibility to open the windows at the 1st floor. only air conditioning. and only when they turn it on for the entire building. if you wake up in the middle of the night and you have no air, you can't turn it on by yourself. 
- noisy during the night because of the highway 
- not so clean. pretty bad smell in the bathroom, partly because of the air conditioning. 
- in the morning there was no food (no cook), even if they knew they would have a large group staying for the night, days before we arrived.
- not enough personnel. there was only one guy (very nice and polite), but he barely could handle everything (restaurant, rooms, reception, complaints etc...)

I would not go back there

Never spent  a night  here,  i stopped for one night because was geting late, traveling from Cluj to Varna with my wife and 7 month child. i asaked  to reception for a free room. the room to be  warm and to have hot watter for the baby. the receptionist said no problem. he showed me the room said that are good , hot will be after 10-15 min . on a.c. ,i carry the laguage up to the room , the a. c was noisy  the temperature was low. no sign of heating. after 30 min went to reception, he came change me the room , said that in the new room  will be warmer, and was right was a lil warmer but way more noisy.
 Wanted to bathe the baby , guess what ? no hot watter, it will come he said to me , live it to flow. i left it for few minutes but it never came.
Very bad experience at  V F M  Motel .

Nice Hotel with a very special design of both exterior and interior. Good food. The rooms are clean and perfekt for a family. The downside is the traffic a few meters from the Hotel. The wi-fi is available almost everywhere and at good speed.
