This hotel tries to offer a lot of entertainment possibilities: good breakfast (homemade jam from wild blueberries), traditional restaurant, a mini zoo (cats, a small lake with fish, a peacock, chickens wandering around), a fair size pool with plenty of sunbeds and a kids' mini pool with warm water and a slide, an escalade wall (looked a little dated and unsafe, didn't see anyone there), a traditional shepard hoot, a small beergarten, beach volley field, even a monstertruck for outdoor adventures.
Rooms are large with the biggest bathroom I 've ever seen. The decor is odd - a mix of wood - castle - kitch - plenty of stained glass. There is another cafe at the top floor, again - interesting decorated.
Good restaurant with traditional food fair prices, kind staff.
We had a good time, discovering something new every moment :), hit the pool several times a day, the kids wandered around the yard. All in all, a good value for money :)

Good base camp for visiting around

The property is fabulous. Rooms and bathrooms are large, the furniture is made from wood, clean and quiet. The location is near a mountain river and between the mountains. Also the yard is great and do not forget about the restaurant look.
Sadly we did had some bad experience with personnel: first in the evening at restaurant: they forgot about our order (some fish) and we waited 1 hour and when we finally asked about it they bring it but the polenta was cold. And second experience was related with reception girl, we asked about my ID (to give me back) she said later and I forgot about it but also she forgot about it. After we leaved in the next morning her colleague called after 2 hours.

very nice and good value/money

It's a nice hotel, economical, special in the furnishings. Unique new, upstairs there's a nice bar, unfortunately with a guy who cheats on foreign customers, I had a cocktail that was 15 you on the menu, but he told me the price was wrong and it was 25 you.

I went with my wife for 15 days had to do the paperwork and in this hotel I found myself really well educated and patient staff being that I am not Romanian like my wife did not get tired of my wife responding to my place

It's beautiful.

One of the most interesting hotels at the entrance to the city of Petrosani, where we stopped on our off-road car tour through Romania. Giant rooms with a rather unusual but quite interesting setting at affordable prices.

A very special hotel

We arrived here very late having driven from Baile Herculane to this hotel near Vulcan. I picked the place for an overnight stay because i am a Trekkie from way back. The drive up was an experience in itself, see that separate review. The complex is a themed park set up.  We didnt partake of any activities.  the hotel building and the room was a sight to behold. I am at a loss to describe the actual theme; castles, forest, wood, hunting, kitsch. the rooms featured wood throughout. they are huge. the peach bathroom was bigger than my sons bedroom at home. The water pressure was terrible but it eventually got warm.  The bed, oh the bed, a sight to behold with interwoven entwined tree branches with integrated side tables and strategically placed light bulbs. The room door was padded with leather and the furniture was all made from bare wood throughout.  The bed mattress was a piece of communist era propaganda. you could feel every coiled spring, i counted them! the attached restaurant featured a similar theme but it worked well there.  I loved the design, a glass room with an detached kitchen, wooden tables and benches with sheep skins draped everywhere.  the food was fabulous ad cheap.  I actually loved this place.  it is a MUST visit if you are ever in the area. the staff were lovely and kindly helped us out with converting money when we arrived with no RONs

Quirky!!!

The whole hotel has its own style and it also runs through all the rooms. Specifically, the bar on the top floor is a unique experience. Rooms and bathrooms are very large. A restaurant can be found in the adjoining building and offers good service and delicious food.

A slightly different hotel

If you have the possibility to visit, do not miss it.
Perfect place with nice spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. Surrounded with mountains. Good food. Nice staff.
I loved it. And will for sure go back. Can't wait.

Perfect get away

It was a big and very pleasant surprise when we discovered this hotel. It's like going back in time, when knights and pricesses lived, but, at the same time, with modern utilities. Rooms are very big (even the smallest room is huge), clean, confortable and very nice decorated. We went there for the first time in May 2015 and we liked it so much (as well as the restaurant which is very very good) that we went there also in August for summer holidays. I recomend it with no reserves.

Realy a dream (cu adevarat de vis)

We were here in a charming, quiet and very romantic place. A little gift for my extraordinary wife and for our witnesses.
