80 reviewsThe Green House is one of the best stays we had during our 7 week trip. Great value for the money. It was a well maintained property and had a relaxing vibe. The room was very clean, and we received clean bedding and towels every day! The bathroom was nice, with warm water and good water pressure. The host Susan is very welcoming, ready to help whenever needed. Her English is very good, and with her business experience, she knows how to handle and arrange things. Her partner Ad wasn't there at the moment, but as he is Dutch, he could delight you with homemade 'bitterballen'! The only remarks I could mention were the wifi and the location, though these were not really cons. Wifi is good for Philippine standards, but not that good compared to what we are normally used to. Location is somewhat far from the main road, but around the corner is a tricycle station. It will only cost you maybe 3 minutes to reach Rizal street (50 pesos), but it is not really a nice road for walking. We liked the more quiet area (no traffic noise, only singing neighbors ;)). Overall, we highly recommend this place, and would love to come back!
