Hostal Apurimak

Firstly the staff are lovely, no English spoken but that was no problem as they smile and that's pretty much international for it's all good. I was fortunate enough to stay on Friday and Saturday and the street markets are directly in front of the hostel and goes on for streets and streets. I never found the end of it...bliss! It's very near the port where you can catch boats to the floating islands and an interesting 5 minute walk to the supermarket ( Plaza Vea ) I paid less for a single room to myself than I paid for most dorm rooms in hostels in Peru. And they supply a heater! There is also a sun terrace. So if your looking for a great place which is friendly and warm look no further.
