Sneek

Nicely renovated hotel, close to the center. Rooms are large and practical.  Bathroom also nicely appointed. Renovation has been done with a lot of taste. There is even a small kitchen. There is a safe storage for bikes.

Nicely renovated hotel

We had an unpleasant surprise after booking a room at this hotel. After receiving the confirmation email message, I called the property to communicate our hour of arrival and the staff told that even though Booking confirmed our stay, they do not have an available room for us and that we should search , by ourselves, another place to spend the night. They did not do any effort to correct their mistake, except giving us 2 phone numbers of near by hotels.

We were very surprised when we saw our room.  It was large, well furnished, very clean, and in a very good location. The bed was large, very comfortable, and adjustable. Something you normally find only in a luxury hotel. It even has kitchen facilities. And there were snacks and other little pampering touches in the room.  There is parking near to the lodging.  The breakfast is well worth the extra cost, but it was not served on location while we were there. It was served at another of there lodges a short walk from there.

Exceptional Value. and in a good location.

Sneek is the perfect city to leave in if you plan to visit Friesland as it is in the center of many interesting places
 The appartement is at the graacht, five minutes from the waterpoort. Very clean and comfortable. The fridge is already filled with different goodies and the kitchen has all that you need to cook a nice meal.
The beds are the highlight as besides being very comfortable, they are also adjustable. 
The owner is just adorable and always there if you need a tip.
Small minus, the rooms can get very hot in the summer. A small fan would be a nice to have.

A dream in Sneek

We spent three nights in the garden studio - this accommodation is really fantastic! Something for people who prefer a wonderfully maintained individual accommodation over an anonymous hotel room. Plenty of space, the best beds (and the best coffee) we've ever had, super-equipped kitchen, tasteful interior, separate toilet, car front, bicycles secured, and in nice weather: wing doors open and enjoy the seats in the garden. You don't want to drive away again. The location of the house is very peaceful and central, and the owners are extremely friendly. Sriesek is a nice central city that offers a lot and is very central if you want to come back to Friesland.

Lovely room, lovely hosts, great location what more could you ask for?  Lots of thoughtful little touches made a good visit great.  Rooms nicely decorated and very clean.  Whole building well presented. Will definitely visit again.
