We landed at ten, without reservation. Olivier managed to arrange the rooms and an excellent meal during the time of a walk that he showed us. After a terrible time in the desert, we rescued ourselves from the coolness of the garden. The rooms are simple, typical, clean. There is everything you need. The meal was excellent, the tea also and the breakfast very good. Ideally placed by the river, in the middle of the gardens. A great time.

A Refuge of Peace

We stayed four days and four nights in the Pearl of M'goun, a haven of peace and serenity. Our hosts Olivier and Bouchra welcomed us and advised us with great kindness and availability. We felt very quickly at home in their beautiful, authentic, simple and warm kasbah. Wonderfully well located at the beginning of many walks in this preserved valley and generous in discoveries and beautiful surprises. Delicious and delicious lunches in the lush garden, excellent doughnuts prepared by Khadija, the mother. Pleasant, typical and landscaped room. You are cradled by frogs, then awakened by water and birds. We have adored and adored the advice!

A Unique Place in the Heart of the Rose Valley

Actually can’t believe this strange place. Practically impossible to find in very remote region. If my husband wasn’t Moroccan and could ask locals
a lot we would never have found it. 
The parking on the road is very complicated - my car got a huge dent from the rocks. Then it’s a 8 minute walk of road down a tiny track through fields and bushes, over a small stream. All very lovely. Arrive finally at the place and garden is nice, roses some flowers but chairs dirty, terrace broken. Waited more than an hour for the room and realised the owner had forgotten about us. We booked the family room as only one left. It was really awful. The decor is very strange and in terrible taste. Whoever decorated must have been sleeping. Bathroom was falling apart. Water cold. Beds rock hard. Sheets strange colour. 
Dinner was awful. Tagine that needed to cook another 40 minutes. Fatty and onions not cooked down. Found hairs in the breakfast food. Overall someone really can’t cook and hygiene is not a priority. Fine if you like rustic and pay accordingly but we left 100€ lighter after one night. Was delighted to leave. 

Nice garden but that’s all

Everything is quite nice in this guest house, clean and proper room and good meals but too expensive for the service. After several hot houses in Morocco in the same region we had a good idea of the prices. For 60€ for a family room we had suites with a typical gorgeous decoration (which is not the case here) and for 8.5€ for dinner we had real dinners unlike these meals here which are good but very simple and not generous. Everything lacks a little maintenance, it would be perfect with -30%. Olivier etait alone managed everything during our stay, we did not meet their all team. The over a little too much service.

Nice but too expensive to deliver

The charm of this guest house begins at the car exit with a walk through the rose gardens accompanied by the dada mule, and the wonderful welcome of Olivier and Bouchra, with little care for their visitors. The warm rooms with berber atmospheres, the calmness of their garden overlooking the landscaped oed are worth stopping for... As for the meals, they are plentiful and delicious and I recommend the olive orange cake, exquisite! We keep a sweet and landscaped memory of this place.

That's a very nice discovery.

While I have yet to stay here, I would recommend them based on my booking experience. I made several reservations at different lodging in Morocco through a well-known booking site, and Olivier, the Manager here, was the only person who sent a nice email reply with information. This seems a charming place in an unique part of the country.

Unique location and good people to work with

We couldn't believe that there should be a single rose here, but first there was stone all along the road. There was a lot of greenery in the valley from above and we had planned the stages for the night. We had reached the pearl of the valley after a short walk. The life's work: the renovation of a traditional Kashbah. Detailed and wonderfully located right by the river, wonderfully cool and airy. We could take part in the quiet life of the family who served us warmly. We would love to go back. The pictures will speak for themselves.

Noisy accommodation

It is a very green and peaceful place. Food is excellent from starter to dessert. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. After having park your car, you have a delicious 10 minutes walk among the gardens and roses before arriving to la Perle de M'Goun (a special thanks to the host's donkey for carrying our luggages). Hidden in the middle of gardens and roses

I grew up in Africa and lived there for a long time, travelling six times from Morocco to El Kelaa de M'Gouna, and the second time to El Kelaa de M'Gouna, happy to have landed at La Perle de M'Gouna. It is an individual Maison d'Hotes with a park-like garden located on the banks of the M'Goune River, attached to a small village, with normal Moroccan village life. After 11 km of country road from El Kelaa de M'Gouna through several villages, a sign is discovered on the left of the street: La Perle de M'Gouna and there already (after a phone call) a Moroccan with a donkey who takes care of your living room and takes you back to La Peradena (eight minutes to walk to La Peradena).
