lovely bungalow overlooking the river just could do with some maintenance as getting run down  but good at the price

We stayed in the new building. So

Everything is new, nice bel only, beautiful bathroom, good bed. Right on the river with great view.

Now the unfortunate negatives.

Internet is horrible. T.V. not working. You have to ask staff to. One clean your room. They will make your bed and give fresh towels. They did NOT empty waste basket, cleaned the glasses, nor did they clean the bathroom. 
You have to pay extra for breakfast which is everyday the same. 2 eggs, a piece of bread and a slice of ham. Not worth it and if you show up after 10.30 am they say you are too late.
Across the review is a restaurant that plays very loud music all evening long so forget about your peaceful balcony to enjoy your sunset. Also morning and early evening the motorboat are constantly zooming by. 

I recommend staying a bit further away, you still will enjoy the view but avoid all the noices.
I will not stay here again.

Great room, horrible service

We booked two rooms for three nights. We were already in Vang Vieng. We had paid for the entire stay at the reception. When we arrived on February 15, they simply told us that they were finally complete... We were then without accommodation in the middle of the Chinese New Year so with the complete hotels.

It's not right!

The Hotel is under constructions, the breakfast disgusting, the room dirty and the peopld do not care at all. But the worst is they offer no wifi in the room! It is loud all day long and not relaxing at all. 

Overpriced, unfriendly, NO WIFI!!! Just don't go

We stayed in the bungalows across the river, very pleasant, the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, they lent you a long wooden boat to go around the river and they have bicycle rental service to tour the villa or go to the cave.

It's worth the trip.

I do not where to  start....the family is an over priced crampy and sewage-smelling small room. The bathroom is a hole on the floor, direct to the river. There is a construction site next door (read: awful view and noise). The breakfast is barely edible, with a choice between an american one and a british one: do not overthink about which one to choose, despite what's written on the menu, they are alike, except for an additional small portion of cold beans. My advice: if you cannot offer a decent breakfast ( and i am speaking about a simple one here), then do not do it. The staff does not speak english and is less than amicable to put it midly.They even fought very hard in front of us, throwing things at each other. Not pleasant. At night, the music from the other side of the river is blasting. Just like KC and the sunshine  would say "please don't go" there.

Just....don't go!

We came in and the staff was sleeping and very uninterested, they took us to the room without one word. Did not even say hello. We had to walk past a constrution site for the expansion of the hotel. A lot of noise. At 9 pm we could not buy a drink, fridge was locked. And no fridge in the bungalow. The view on the rivier is nice, if you don't look at the construction site.

This place looks great in the photos, but they are so old. The location is great but where do I start, walk in it's like a building site, paths covered in building materials. Know idea where the check is, walk across a deck that's not nailed down. Finally get our rooms, and you have a family living on site with babies crying and they say it's the helicopters and will stop soon, but these go morning, noon and night.  Electrics held together with tape. Asked to change rooms, which they agreed too, but two of the walls underneath were missing due to flooding. By this time asked to talk to a manager and there isn't one.  Also if your after a quiet place this won't happen, across the river from a bar playing music till 10-12pm.Safety had become a issue. Don't get me wrong I have travelled extensively in Laos as a tour guide so had some bad place but this one wins! So we moved, only option! The next day sitting watching across the river, the actually took the rooms they offered us down, and that's where they wanted us to stay! Bad move guys!

Everything is Terrible!

We had booked a double room online and when we arrived we were placed in a three-person room with a perfect view! That's the big positive point of this stay, just across the river and overlooking the mountains. The room is all made convenient, good bedding, hot water, air conditioning and the guesthouse is quietly located! But a little badly soundproofed.

Have a nice stay.

I've seen so many places before, but I've never seen anything like this. Dirty rooms, bathrooms without the least hygiene. The night was a battlefield for ants and mice. Room cleaning almost non-existent. The only nice thing is the view of the river, the mountain and the valley. There are so many other places in Vang Vieng where you can stay and definitely spend less. You're far from this place. PS: excellent dining service, cheap and tasty.
