Oudomsin Guesthouse

We made a booking at the guesthouse but on arrival couldn't find staff in here or the Hotel across the road. After hanging around for 10 minutes a guy ran across the road waving. He explained he had been for a shower and apologised (to be fair we had said we would arrive in the evening be were a few hours early). As we checked in he explained he had upgraded us to the Hotel but the price would stay the same. The reception area is impressive, white marble floors and large wood tables and even a little fish pond in the back. The room was clean and tidy and great for $8 a night! The bathroom is a little small and the sink was leaking (we reported it on our way out). We didn't choose breakfast as there was a little confusion over what time we could eat as we had to leave early. The guys English isn't great but he is as helpful as he can be. Overall a great price for a decent room.
