Our first experience of an hotel in Japan - clearly not “anticipated stereotypical Japanese” as the rooms were a really good size; very modern; and well located for railway stations and shopping. As expected though, the hotel was spotlessly clean - and the staff very polite and welcoming. The included breakfast was very good - not an expansive buffet but a good offering and very good hygiene by the hotel - only 3 ‘hot options’ but served fresh to order. The reception is on the first floor - accessed via a lift at street level - so not immediately obvious. The bar was not overly great - poor location adjacent to reception - but served a refreshment rather then a “must spend time here”. Overall the hotel would be easy to return and recommend
