Hotel Monterey Ginza

My husband and I stayed here for four nights before the start of our cruise from Yokohama in April. We chose this hotel because of the location and the price – it was close to everything and it was affordable. Upon arrival, we found the receptionist to be very friendly and helpful. She even offered complimentary skin care samples to take. I wasn’t sure what they were, so I took one of everything. (I tried them when we got on the cruise ship later on and found them interesting. My favorite sample was the eye mask, which was very soothing for my tired eyes.) Our room was on the 4th floor. It was small but had everything we needed, (but no safe), including a mini fridge. The room’s a/c worked well. We booked a Queen Room and it had a queen bed pushed against the wall. We also found two sets of PJs on the bed, but since we had our own, we didn’t use them. (They were available for purchase.) We found slippers in the closet. While the décor looked dated, the room was clean and it was quiet. We slept well every night. We chose the standard package (no breakfast), as we knew there were convenient stores and coffee shops nearby. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and wished we had stayed longer!
