Hostels in Japan are typically of very high-quality and Hotel 3000 is no different. This is perfect if you are visiting Japan in a group and want a cheap place to stay which is close to local amenities. With that said, the rooms and facilities are quite basic compared to hostels in the Shibuya and Shinjuku area, but this may be because it has a 'local' feel to it. We didn't see any other European tourists during our stay. More importantly, there are plenty of toilets and washrooms and there is a free breakfast in the communal area if you get up early enough. This is mainly bread, cereal, tea and coffee. I would recommend staying here if you are exploring the Akihabara reigion for a few nights.
