I went for a ski trip with my father last weekend. It was a stress-free, relaxing, authentic weekend! The owner come and gets you when you step off the bus and drives you to the pension. The rooms are clean with a great view. Food is delicious and traditional. You can rent the skis at the pension directly, and walk to the ski slopes (5min walk) They even took a picture of us, print it out and gave it to us with the dinner menu of the previous night. Great memory and very thoughtful! The ofuro is very agreable as well, with a great view! I highly recommend it! The owners do not speak english though,so you need to speak at least some basic Japanese!
