Confolia Apartments

We booked at Confolia Apartments because it was cheaper and with free cancellation. We booked two nights, planning to move between regions in the trip. But we then found a great place to stay and decided to make it our home for the whole trip. The apartment was very big: two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower and an amazing balcony with a view of all the La Valle region. The apartment was clean and well-organized. The host family was really nice. Always helpful with tips, ideas and very friendly. We got ourselves food supply and cooked our own food for the whole term without having to spend money on restaurants (but we like to cook in general...). There are two small supermarkets in the town, and you can go to Brunico or to Badia for bigger ones. The place is hard to find, and driving to it can get challenging for those who are not used to drive steep roads with a manual gear. GPS routed us through some "shortcut" with really steep roads. If you go through the main road of La Valle, it is much better (In general, go straight until the church, then go up with the road, straight, to Cians, until the road ends...). The place sits at the highest levels of La Valle, much above the valley. Views from there are amazing. The area is agricultural and full of farms all around. Everything was green, and everyone was so friendly. You can reach every point in the Dolomites area within an hour of driving from there. This is why we decided to stay (along with the fact that it was a great place). Book directly from the family, not through booking sites. Price will be even lower. One day we'll come back for a winter trip. It should be amazing there.
