Porta del Tocco is a quaint hotel, conveniently located in the historic centre of Taormina, near the main parking garage and all the important sights. The guest rooms are modern and comfortable, with a generous sized bathroom. Lorenzo, the hotel owner, is extremely welcoming and helpful. Lorenzo was available to assist us upon our arrival, to guide us as to where to park our car, and to even meet us there and help us carry our luggage. As for the included breakfast, each morning you start your day off with a tasty Sicilian breakfast served at a neighbouring restaurant with a stunning view of Mount Etna and the sea. Lorenzo was always eager to suggest restaurants and he even went out of his way to set up a manicure appointment for me. What service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Porta del Tocca and highly recommend it. Thank you, Lorenzo, for your outstanding hospitality.
