If you're planning on going to Chianti, stop here. The rooms are simple and rustic, but the location is amazing. Plus, since it's not a giant hotel, it feels very much like a B&B without the feeling that you're in someone's house. We came off-season (very early in the year) and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. The winery and castle are a short distance -- and are great -- plus the area is great to explore. Definitely go on a tour of the winery and castle - and buy some balsamic! The man who greeted us was awesome and told us about a nearby village's small food festival.

As of this date I am not sure whether Casanova is still being operated by the same family.  Our last stay there was in September 2012 and it was our third time to be guests in that establishment.  You should know that if we returned three times it had to be good.  Sandra and Michael were wonderful hosts at each visit.  Each of these visits were during the September wine festival in Greve.  We've stayed in three different rooms, twice upstairs and once down.  Upstairs we had access to a wonderful terrace.  Each room was spacious as were the en suite bathrooms.  Breakfasts were very Italian and the one dinner Sandra prepared with advance notice was memorable.  From my past experience I would definitely recommend Casanova.

We stayed in La Ripintura, which is the closer one to town. It was amazing that due to trees is the Agriturismo al,most separated from the rest of the world leaving one view overlooking the vineards. The room was giant accompanied by a lovely terrace suitable for dinners. Everyone but especially Jussara were really helpful. The only problem seemed to be the mosquitos but we got this smoking stick to scare them off and luckilly it worked. The place is very close to the centre(about 10 minutes walk) and you can take a walk around the vineyards as well. Perfect choice

We were staying at the part of the complex called "la casa nova" and it was truly cute.
Nice setting, very spacious room and bathroom. A big spider in the room but... it's a farm so all is good :D

The breakfast was big and freshly made, a very nice surprise. 

The only negative thing: the shower of the room was sort of broken: the spray of water was so hard it almost hurt. Must be replaced.
The mattress is also a bad quality, we did not sleep nicely in it.

They do not offer a restaurant, but in 5 minutes you can be in the centre of Greve in Chianti :)

You know you are in for a treat as you enter the entry car park to this B&B. The beautiful creeper cascading down the studio sets the tone for a nice relaxing stay. Check-in was without issue, but nothing memorable. The family room was our destination, with two flights of stairs we were shown to our rooms. A small hallway connected both the kids and adults rooms with a shared bathroom in between. Portions were ample and each room had its own personality. Be wary of the mosquito's as there is no air con at this B&B, so windows are left open in the afternoon to maintain a cool temperature. Neat and tidy both rooms had sufficient size to have two suitcases on the floor whilst maintaining a comfortable feel. The view from our room was hampered but comforting at the same time. The B&B have their own wines which can be purchased at reception for tastings - worth a try. For EUR140 of the night for the family room we were happy with this selection and its convenient location to the city centre. We enjoyed the breakfast and there was plenty to go around. Built with an older era in mind the B&B offers a quaint charm whilst having a link to civilisation and the town. Whilst being charming it was overly memorable for our trip - which shows it delivers, but doesn't get the 5 stars others have provided.
