Residence Erice Pietre Antiche, Via Giuseppe Fontana 12, Erice, 91016 is a very nice property. The super helpful owners sent us multiple helpful messages in advance of our stay to help with logistics. Erice has a no cars in town policy and the location of their private parking area was not very convenient (although they did offer to collect us and our bags from the carpark for a fee) we decided instead to park in the public carpark and then walk the 600 yards to the property. When we arrived at the property there was some confusion because we needed a code to get in so called the owner and she assumed we were at the parking area so kept giving us the wrong code. After a few minutes she arrived in person and everything was fine. The property is lovely. As you enter through the main door from the street you enter a lovely courtyard from which there is a staircase to the upper floor. Our apartment was on the ground floor, had loads of character being an ancient building but modernized to make it very comfortable, clean, safe and we had a great night’s sleep. The town is small enough such that the property is close to all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended if staying in Erice.
