I booked on Booking.com and I was supposed to pay upon arrival, so no credit card needed.
I received then some emails asking to pay a wire transfer to a private name to secure the booking, since I didn’t see the emails before the reservation was cancelled.
Be aware and careful of these hidden surprises.

Cancelled for no reason

We had the nerve to give only 4 points on Booking.com, and this is what we got. Very customer friendly and problem-solving attitude, isn't it?

I suggest the owner to enroll some courses where he can learn how to handle a criticism properly.

Two days in Bari we found ourselves well in this apartment (it was not a B&B as Breakfast was not included. Overall the service is excellent, kind and available the manager (although we did not have the pleasure of meeting him in person but only by phone) nice the cleaning/check-in girl.

Good accommodation

The location of the  apartment is at the centre of Bari - close to the historical city centre and close to the rest of the city. The apartment which was spacious was cleaned every day. It shared a kitchen.  The one thing I did not like was the shower in the bedroom which had only a semi-transparent roller shield offering limited privacy.

Well located

I booked one day, with their listing saying I could pay cash on arrival. Then the next day I got an email from them saying I needed to pay in advance, so I paid the full cost within minutes. A day later I got a cancellation message, claiming I hadn't even paid a deposit! This has put me to huge nuisance. Terrible service.

Cancelled for no reason after I'd paid in full

Convenient location for walking to the centre, but uncomfortable for those arriving by car, there is no parking. Shower not in the bathroom, but inside the dimly lit room. Balcony communicating with the other rooms, medium cleaning

A quarter of an hour after I made the reservation with FREE CANCELATION they sent me 4 emails asking me the SUBJECT SOLDIES to send with bank transfer!!!!!! and to my complaint they had the courage to answer that it is at their discretion to ask for immediate payment!

We're all right and smelling like truffles!!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and, first of all, it is not a B&B, but a rented room, since you will be asked to sign a sublocation contract. Moving on to the positive points first, it is to be said that the location is really very comfortable, as the hotel is a few minutes from Bari Central station and Bari Vecchia; the room, beyond some very thin walls, is quite quiet and not very noisy. Now the bad points: first of all, the scortesy of the staff, very cold and detached, with really economical comments against different ethnic groups, such as Italians.

A few positive points

Veronica welcomes us, with all the applications, and covid checks, delivers the keys, directions and suggestions, to get the most out of the city. Large room with two huge windows, very clean and with all the colours intoned, the only drawback is the personal bathroom, but outside the room, large, clean bathroom and filled with branded shampoo and soap in the dispensers.

Intermediate stop

The location is the best point of this place. It is in City center near to train station, Old Town and sea. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. Only minus is breakfast. It was too small.
