Wonderful staff. From the gentlemen at reception to the gentleman who looked after our room. Located conveniently near bus stops as well as shops and nice little restaurants in the neighbourhood. The condition on of the flat was excellent, with comfy beds and tea&coffee facitlites. Will definitely choose it again when in Jerusalem

Honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Do not even expect the basic like to have your sheets, towels or toilet rolls changed daily for the $250+ that you will spend.
Do not expect any type of cleaning of your room (we stayed for 3 nights and did not get this). Do. Or expect your trash to be removed from your room. 
Do not expect any solutions or compassion from staff when you tell them about issues. Nobody will take any responsibility and will ask you to speak to other staff members over and over again.
For the cost, you will have no problem finding a much better in Jerusalem. We made the mistake already…

What a dirty hotel!!

We stayed in the hotel on the weekend between the May 7-8 2021. We woke up at 3:30 AM and there were thousands of small black ants on the pillows and part of the bed. we woke up since we felt them crawling on us. There were no spare sheets or blankets in the room to change to. The reception was empty until Sat night, so we had no one to help with this issue. When we told the receptionist this on Sat night, she said - "oh, this is a known problem." We finally spoke to one of the managers who barely apologized and finally returned 50% of the charge.

Awful experience in our last stay

Booked to stay here to be near family. We were so happy with the hotel. Self-contained suites, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with flat screen TV, very comfortable bed, fitted cupboard complete with safe, ironing board and iron. Bathroom had all the amenities expected in a 5* hotel, but a lovely surprise in very reasonably priced apartment hotel. Only quibble was bath was not full size, but as most people I think prefer showers, this is not a real issue. Place was very clean, can highly recommend!

Great stay- great value

I stayed here for 4 months (March June 2020) in a very difficult period of my life and I can say with all conviction that it is the best place to stay, especially if you have a hard time. It is clean, it is well organized, the apartments are equipped with everything you need. The staff is extremely kind and eager to help. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the goodness shown. The neighborhood is very special, clean, elegant, beautiful, peaceful. You have everything you need at the door: grocery stores, pharmacy, market, Hadar mall, buses that take you wherever you need. It's a walk away from the city center. I warmly recommend Rafael Residence.

Like home

Rafael residence has a good cost benefit. The staff is very nice. Gabi helped us a lot with information and we could eat well at a walking distance. Definetely recomend and would stay there again. To go to the old city we called a taxi, it took less than 5 minutes to pick us up and another 15 minutes to get there. We paid less than 10 dollars.

Good location and accommodation with free private parking

This is a wonderful place in Baka.  The suites are two rooms with a small kitchenette.  The location is great for staying in Jerusalem but outside of the tourist area.  Walking to the center of town is about 25-30 minutes.  The suites are well appointed and the staff is very helpful.

Great base in Jerusalem

The hotel is considered as apartment type fully equipped. It is lookes like a new or at least refurbished. It is very clean, nice and simple decorated. Fully equipped kitchen . Located in one of the most nice and quite areas in Jerusalem. Very recommended.

Excelent hotel for reasonsble price

Residence hotel which leaves a certain autonomy with a sufficient kitchenette, confirms a private or public means of transport to the old town. Housekeeping is done every day and goes to essentials, the reception before and during the stay is pleasant.

Shalom

Stayed here and it was so clean and modern.  Lior, at the front desk, was nice and helpful.  I didn't realize that there's a small kitchenette with a nice sized refrigerator, so I was able to heat up and store food.
