The members of the staff were very friendly and kind to us.

Stayed one night with friends, and found this is one of the best inn we had. Big bed, clean bathroom with hot and cold water, wifi, free tea and coffe with self-services. The AC work well, and this place close by one of big mall on Surabaya, Ciputra World. I enjoyed here much, but unfortunately I couldn't go anywhere when late at night. The inn closed down at 11 pm and rise at 6-7 am.

Stayed for a couple of nights en route to Probollingo.  Room was pretty cheap (one of the cheapest we found in Surabaya), air-con worked well, bathrooms clean and free ice-cold drinking water.  Staff friendly and helpful, especially the guy from Flores.  Location is so-so, but next to a big mall with plenty of dining options and a supermarket if you need to stock up on things, which we did.  Good for budget travellers who need a no-frills stopover.

The location of the hotel is in what seems to be an industrial type area,  but it's close to a big mall. The halls are cleaned each morning and the room is fairly clean,  but there are lots of small ants everywhere. The shared kitchennete facilities are really just a toaster and kitchen plates and cutlery. Free water and tea are good!

This homestay was located in a strategic location.The facilities were ok.Room is acceptable.Only 1 shared bathroom in each floor.Broken closet, which make it difficult to flush.Wifi is great.Many mosquitoes if you didn't spray the insecticides.Overall...it's acceptable,considering the affordable price.

Decent, cheap and friendly

reasonable hotel

I considered staying at Providence Homestay for its cheap price, which was suitable to backpacker lovers like me. It was such a reasonable homestay: air-conditioned room, and good wifi connection. I felt like at home here, haha. But I didn't like it, for the location. It is located in a business centre which doesn't fit the backpacker budget. I found it was hard to find some food stalls with lower price. The food stalls or the restaurants surrounding are too pricey.

Strategic location

I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights. The staff was kind, they help me to find the public transportation route (since surbaya had a lot of different tracks for public transportation). The location was a little bit far from the city but if you are brave enough to take some public transportation then it's not a big deal. They give you towel and soap. They also have an air con. And it's only take 20 min to go to airport by taxi. If you are in the tight budget then you can take TV  bemo to Joyoboyo station and take another bemo to Bungurasih, after that you can take airport bus. It cost almost very cheap compare by taking taxi.

Cheap but a little bit far from city center

I am a single female traveller and attracted to this venue for its cheap price.  It is located in a business complex which is dark and quiet.  Although the location is near Ciputra world mall,  the street is scary and dark. 

The room itself only separated by very thin triplex with clear glass  20 cm from the top (see my picture). 
In the night,  when I look at the glass,  I found someone looking at me and watching my activity inside the room.  No privacy.  I do not recommend a single traveller to go there.  I do mean it.  

Scary and not secure

Receptionist, no manners,asking for marriage certificate,if don't have not allow to check in,luckily we brought it.His attitude so poor so next day,we decide to change other hotel.
