Excellent location in the quiet street but just some minutes on foot from the main beach. Very friendly owner, clean room, free parking on site, free Wi-Fi, excellent breakfast. They also have a kind of art shop on site.

Friendly owner

Traveling for fun and stopped Keszthely for a night.  The Guest House Moritz was a short tip back in time where hotels were family owned and operated.  The room was clean, neat and comfortable.  We enjoyed our small balcony and the tranquil setting of the lodging.  Close to the lake and just a bit further from the palace and city center.  Train station and bus station was just a five minute walk.  Know that the rooms may not have air conditioning so if you need the room extremely cold it may be an issue for you.  We kept ours closed during the day and it maintained a pleasant temperature.

Lake day

Where to stay for a few nights, very spacious rooms with a comfortable bathroom, breakfast unfortunately for us Italians almost exclusively salty, but you can arrange it.

We had a very good stay, very pleasant and helpful staff, clean, spacious room with a very good bed. The location is perfect, right next to Lake Balaton where we could admire a beautiful sunset.

This guesthouse is within walking distance to the lake and the city. It is quirky and filled with lots of unusual decorations which we liked. We had access to a fridge which was great since it was warm weather. We had a small clothesline on our balcony so we could dry our clothes easily. Breakfast was extra but was worth it. Would stay here again.

Lovely guesthouse in a handy location.

A very cosy and comfortable hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly, very polite. A perfect value of money.A good and quite location. Very close to lake Balaron, raileway station, bus station and the centre.

Very cozy family hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast for reasonable price. Excellent location, close to walk to all interesting places. They have nice garden where you can spend your evenings with friends or family.

More than you can expect

We stayed for 2 nights and found the location terrific. About 10 min walk from the train station, 10 min into town centre and 5 min from the Lake. We stayed in a ground floor apartment which was adequate. There was a fridge and microwave in the room but no other kitchen ware. The bed was comfortable but the towelling bottom sheet made it very warm on a balmy evening. The breakfast consisted of plates of cheese, meats, eggs, bread, juice, yoghurt and tinned fruit with cofee/tea. Good value for 5€...with little other nearby alternatives. Leo was extremely friendly and helpful.

Good location

As part of the Keszthely triathlon, we had booked three rooms in the Moritz Guest House. The reception was very friendly, the check-in was easy. The proximity to the venue and also to the city centre was a special plus. We felt very comfortable, the breakfast was also good and sufficient.

Very friendly, pleasant room

Built for one night, the Guest House is a set of rooms with private bathroom, clean, rather spacious, and in our case equipped with a terrace. Wi-Fi and free parking, as well as proximity (300 meters or so) to the beaches. Mr. Moritz welcomed us kindly, with a courtesy essenciality, also giving us some advice.
