Fantastic-so clean, right on the sea front, very friendly helpful staff, food cheap and deliscious, steps or slope into the sea and a sparking clean swimming pool although a tad cold highly recommend this place! cius garedns, terrace so your not on top of each other

Lovely place to stay, only problem is the music from the bar across the street late at night but only a problem for room that side of the building.

Perfect location,didn’t stay in hotel but spent days here great place to relax by the sea,has a sparking clean swimming pool too, lots of sunbeds and parasols, food is very nice ,tasty and reasonably priced sunbeds are free, everywhere is clean and the staff are polite welcoming and friendly a great place to relax

Excellent!

This is in one of the best locations in Argassi in my opinion. 
We had a front facing with balcony sea view room. Yes, the rooms are basic, there is a kitchen with fridge - but we only used the fridge. Lovely and clean, and cleaned daily.
There were towels and beach/pool towels supplied. There is air con and a safe all included, no deposit required. 
We went on bed basis only, but we asked for breakfast- 10€ a day pp, excellent breakfast as is all thier food.
I recommend the chicken souvlaki 
Everybody were supper friendly- nothing too much trouble. 
Sunbeds on grassed area, 7 or so steps onto the 'beach' which is about 4mt wide.
Pool lovely and warm. Showers and foot wash between beach and pool.
There are also so many places to eat out ... cannot say we had a bad meal in the 7 nights we were there.

The green frog is also straight across the road, bar/restaurant and shop for all essentials. Fab cocktails. 

We wanted a quiet week away just to totally unwind.... there is so little to do it was absolutely perfect for the type of week away we needed/ wanted.

Most relaxing holiday ever.

We didn’t stay here but most of the hotels are open to go to their pool / beachside if you’re buying drinks etc. This spot was a great find right on the sea front with access to swim and a lovely bar which provided drinks and food at a really reasonable price. We were in Argasi for a week and spent most of our days here. Thank you to the lovely service we received everyday too! Always delighted to see us and nothing was a bother.

We didn’t stay but a cracking spot to spend the day by the Sea for swimming, drinks and lunch. Lovely service!

Nice hotel. The location is AMAZING. Beautiful garden with sunbeds and pool, facing straight out onto the sea. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Just over the road is the Green Frog supermarket and bar / restaurant which serves great food. It's only a few minutes walk down into Argassi center where there's a load more restaurants and bars.

The hotel is very clean and housekeeping came every day. As others have said, the furniture, kitchen and bathroom is very basic, but completely functional.

The only issue we had was that the 2nd bedroom (with the kids bunkbeds in) isn't as noise insulated as the master bedroom and the airconditioning is facing away from it. It's also at the back of the property facing the road and Green Frog bar which is open till late and has live bands, so it ends up being very hot and loud. We ended up moving our kid's mattresses onto the floor of the master bedroom after a couple of nights which is a shame as we'd specifically looked for a 2 bedroom apartment.

All in all though, it's a lovely little hotel. The view, access to the sea and beautiful pool and gardens make up for a lot!!

Great Location

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very very nice, rooms clean, but most important is the beach on the beautiful green grass garden with the pool. We rented a car and travelled through the island, but didn't see such a brautiful beach. It's sandy, shallow and warm sea, not crowded, the sundbeds and umbrellas just at the shore. There is a terrace small restaurant and again, we tryed many restaurants, but this small one offered the best food, with allways smiling, nice staff. There are toilets just in the garden, so it's very conveniant for families with children. The outdoor shower was very welcomed. Also the location of the hotel is perfect. Argassi is not crowded, noisy place, but at the same time, if one wants, he can find nice bars and restaurants and places to go. The hotel is not big, but it has quite big garden, so guests have enough private place.

Beautiful beach garden

Hotel is on beach, so you can swimm almost directly from your room. Free sun beds for hotel guests. Pool is surrounded with well maintanted grass with caffe just next to the pool.
Rooms are very clean, maid clean it every day. Furniture is little bit outdated, but everything functions well. Spectacular sea view from the balcony.
Free parking inside hotel yard is very usefull thing in Zakhyntos.

Excellent hotel

Just returned from a short stay at Maria Mare. 
From the moment we walked in until when we left we had an amazing stay. The rooms are very clean and of a high standard for a Greek hotel. The sea view from our room was magnificent. All staff we came into contact with were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast each day which was freshly cooked and very tasty. The location is well placed but quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxed no hassle break.
