Love Katia arparthotel have been twice staff are lovely. Joanna and Alex are great hosts and will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable.  Food is also good in the Resturant .We had 10 days here and loved it . Kassiopi is a good 15-20 minutes walk but very pleasant and worth it .

Just returned from holiday of 10 days this was our 5th year hear can't fault it clean comfortable rooms all the staff are helpful and friendly and Alex is the perfect host makes our holiday that bit more enjoyable would definitely recommend this place 

Excellent and friendly service, we stop off here for a drink on our regular walk to avlaki from kassiopi, friendly, clean and tidy. Looks a lovely place to stay.
Quiet, good value and looks a very homely place to stay, pool nip and clean and beers are very reasonable

Absolutely amazing holiday here !!! Such a gem !! We always say how lucky we were to come across this place ....it is our 10th visit here, however a first for my teenage son and mum. It is a small family run hotel run by Alex and Joanna who are fantastic hosts. The hotel is extremely secluded and is set in beautifully  maintained grounds with olive trees and hibiscus   plants. The pool is a good size and is always immaculate and there are plenty of sunbeds around to relax in the tranquil setting ....no need to put a towel on your bed at 7am in the morning!! There is also a small toddler pool and a play area.The rooms are simply furnished and  spotlessly clean. The bedding snd towels are changed regularly and floor is mopped. .The hotel restaraunt boasts a large and varied menu catering for all dietary requirements ranging from healthy traditional Greek breakfasts and fresh fruit to delicious red snapper, moussaka ,stifado, stuffed peppers etc all of which is reasonably priced If you dont want to miss the football matches Alex has several televisionsin the bar where these can be watched. There is also a children's menu. For those of you who don't want to venture far there is a beautiful idylic beach aproximately 150ft down the garden where you can relax , snorkel or paddle board (Boards may be   hired from the hotel for a small fee) The village is approximately 20 minutes walk or 5 euro in a taxi where there are plenty of shops and boat trips from the pretty harbour.
This year my mum and son came with us. It was their first time and won't be their last !! My mum arrived extremely stressed as she had forgotten to bring her medication. Joanna the hotel owner made a quick phone call to the doctor explaining the situation and within 2 hours the doctor arrived at our table with the tablets !!!! My mum was astonished by the service which goes above and beyond. 
If you are looking for a relaxed traditional Greek holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life at a small hotel in beautiful surroundings with that personal touch and amazing hosts then this is for you!! This is Kassiopis best kept secret!! The majority of guests are people who return year after year .There is nothing not to like about !! 


Myself;husband &son stayed at Katie and from the second we got out of the bus we were made to feel welcome.Alex and Joanne were fabulous as were all staff they could not do enough for us nothing was to much trouble.Everything was clean and tidy food was great we had a lovely time and made some new friends.

This is the 2nd year myself and my partner have stayed at the Katia apprrments and stayed for 10 days this time. rooms are clean and have everything you need .the owners are lovely and work non stop to make everyone’s experience lovely .the owners and staff all work so hard and take lots of pride in the apprtments the restaurant food is amazing and lots of choice .the pool area is relaxing and so clean we love the little beach less then 5mins walk and a highlight is the Greek nite again so much effort goes into this and it’s a brilliant and fun night.
 we have already booked for next year also bringing some other members of the family with us this time 

An absolute delight to come back here for our honeymoon. This is our 3rd visit and it did not disappoint. The room we had had been re vamped and looked smart and clean, special mention to the square lighting on the ceiling my husband very much liked. 

The room as always very clean and the cleaning ladies keep this throughout our stay, they are extremely hard working as is the maintenance man who I saw every morning cleaning the pool area and surrounds.

The shower and room water is salty as mentioned by other reviews, this is what it is here. No qualms about that for us, salt water is good for skin! Bottle water widely available and you can order this from Alex and his team, so no lugging this from the supermarket.

BBQ night is just pure fun and the food brilliant, so glad we got to do this again.

Big shout out to the bar lady, (sorry I've not remembered your name) for "tropical margarita" - her special, so delicious, not on the menu. All the cocktails that were on the menu were delicious. Joanna makes the best greek lover!

Katia is the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle but just a 15 min walk form the town and opposite direction Avlaki beach. We've recommended it to so many people. We've met people there who come back year on year and the reason - it's relaxed, the staff are great, the food is so good, everyone we met and talked to love this place and with very good reasons, Alex and Joanna (and their team) work so hard to make this place amazing! .

Coming back next year with the in laws.

Apartments fairly basic, as I would expect in Greece, although beds comfortable. Bar and pool area good, with plenty of sun beds and shade.  Very hot so well worth paying the extra 8 euros a day for the air con.  Alex and Joanne excellent hosts with great staff.  Nothing was too much bother.  It is a 15/20 minute walk down to Kassopi harbour with a steep hill going and coming back.  A taxi costs 5 euros.  Food at the apartments was good and reasonable priced.  Many guests return year after year.

We stayed in a two bed apartment as we were three generations going and it was perfect enough space for the three of us lovely poo,l bar area ,food was amazing hosts Alex and Joanna are lovely people and nothing was to much trouble. I left a brand new pair of trainers that I purchased on the way and on pick up I left them behind I emailed Joanna and she kindly sent my trainers home for me and they arrived a week later..Great holiday would return without hesitation. 

Me and my boyfriend loved our stay at Katia. We had a ground floor apartment (number 4) that slept 3 people. Room was nice and modern, bathroom was still dated and needs a revamp, but didn’t bother us at all. We had a little outdoor space with a table, chairs and clothes drier. Apartment had everything we needed. They charge 8 euros a day for the air con which we thought was quite steep, and going early- mid June we felt that we didn’t need it. However this would be a necessity in the middle of the summer. Bar/ restaurant was fairly priced, 4.50 euros for a large draught beer. We ate lunch here a couple of times which was lovely. We enjoyed the Greek bbq night that they host every Tuesday. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and very hard working. Rooms were cleaned daily. Katia is roughly 15-20 minute walk into Kassiopi, and a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction to Avlaki beach which is beautiful. We loved staying in Kassiopi and have recommended the area and these apartments to friends and family.

katia aparthotel in beautiful corfu

We spent 7 nights in Katia and will give a very honest and balanced review as we found it. 
First of all the negative points:
1. The walls are paper thin and you can hear literally everything from next door. (Which is only a problem if your neighbours are inconsiderate - which unfortunately ours were. 2:50am making phone calls back to UK etc).
2. There is a smell in the bathroom area, but we have experienced that in every Greek hotel.
3. It can get quite loud in the bar area especially on certain event nights.

If you like to go to bed normal time in quiet and sleep all night I would advise some high quality ear buds. 

Apart from all this, the hotel is fabulous. Alex and Joanne are so hospitable and friendly. They literally went out of their way to make our holiday for us.
They organised hire car for us and had the car delived to the hotel and collected.
They organised boat trips for us with the best rates and organised for the people to pick us up. 
Nothing was too much trouble. 
The beds were firm but we really started to appreciate them. We slept really well on them. There was only one pillow though and I do need two. I get a bit shy sometimes and don't like to make a fuss so bought another pillow from the DIY shop in Kassiopi. I can imagine that they would've provided another if I had asked. 
The rooms were immaculate and clean. The cleaners were also very friendly and gave good pointers about the surrounding area. 
The owners of the hotel, never seemed to sit down and relax, they were constantly on the go making sure everything was clean, tidy and that the guests were looked after. 
I don't know where they get their energy from. 
The Greek night they had was the best I had ever been too and we have been to quite a few. The dancers taught us so much about the dances and performed them really well. They were true professionals.  And the bbq was amazing. 
The food served in the hotel was, for us, perfect. The choice on the menu seemed limitless. And everything was cooked perfectly with incredible flavours. In fact it was so good that we ate most nights there and ended up having most breakfasts there as well. 
We will definetly be back and look forward to going back. 
The walk into kassiopi is a nice easy walk unless you have serious health problems or are seriously unfit. My wife had achillies heel surgery last year and strugglesnto walk too far and she was fine with it.

Absolute delight, can't believe only 2 star, doesnt's make sense!

We visited this hotel in July, we had a 2 bedroom apartment, lots of space plenty of drawers for our things.
The kitchen had enough plates dishes cups glasses and cutlery for us to use. There was 2 sharp knifes kettle and toaster, basically enough equipment for me to make breakfast and lunch. 
The rooms where clean and kept clean by the cleaner lady.
The balcony is small but adequate, the washing rack is placed in a rather awkward position just over the air on box
For us -down side -
The beds where really too hard for us and we both ended up with sore hips!
The water is very salty- not the hotels fault
We often had a bad drain smell in the bathroom which was on occasion off putting, we found we had to run the water in the sink a bit to try to get rid of the smell,
Unfortunately one of the main things for us  was the noise- it seemed to echo in the room, you could hear the conversations people had in the next room and below- I had ear plugs and still could hear the noise  even with the air on on 
Upside- I can see the attraction to this hotel and why people come back year after year
The owners are really lovely people and we do wish them all the best, but it is a personal choice that we would not return 
But we felt it does deserve 4 stars

Our weeks holiday

I would like to thank Alex, Joanna & the whole team for helping to provide the perfect getaway & a fantastic holiday. This place is definitely worth way more than 2 stars. The apartments are clean & comfortable & well appointed. The facilities onsite are also excellent & it is clear that everything is well maintained. The bar & restaurant on site serve great quality food & drinks at reasonable prices. The location was also perfect for us - near enough for a stroll into Kassiopi itself but far enough away to provide the get away from it all feeling we wanted. You can even hire stand up paddle boards (SUPs) to use in the sea which is very nearby. Katia has many repeat visitors & it is easy to see why. We would be very happy to return.
