Folegandros

It has a great location with a nice view of Chora and the sea. Perfect place to enjoy  Folegandros. The pick up service is free. Bed is very comfortable. They also have ecological aspect in the rooms. 

Calm and charming

We stayed in the Rock suite for 3 days. The location is excellent with a fabulous view of the Chora and church. The room was spotless, very modern bathroom. Unfortunately we did not use air conditioning as there was a  - we think mouldy - odour so best to just leave windows open than use the AC.  Towels were not changed and no beach or zaccuzzi towels provided - very unusual for high end accomodation in Greece actually! The room looks great but the steps down could be problematic when you are half asleep and needing to go to bathroom. Had to always be alert to not fall. Did not use the Zaccuzzi as the arrangement is to shower before use otherwise you may be asked to pay for cleaning. Overall it was good but maybe too pricey for what you get compared to other parts of Greece. I would not stay here again which is sad as so much potential.

It needs to offer more for the price.

Very nice room, but overall hotel was like a in progress construction place. No lights at night and kind of no pleasant energy from the ppl working there. 

It’s a very nice place but not for 250 Euro per night.

What a superb stay! We had privacy, quiet, a lovely spa tub and a spacious room. The facilities were very good and everything very clean. The view was gorgeous!
Our host picked us up and took us back to the port.
Easy few minute walk to the charming centre of Chora.
Can thoroughly recommend!


Beautiful stay in lovely accommodation!

second stay in this wonderful place where you can enjoy a magnificent view and great terrace if you take the top suite. Very welcoming host, very nicely designed room, quiet location, beautiful island. Much recommended !

best place

we loved our stay at Kifinis. It was the 2nd time we stayed and the quality is maintained. Very friendly and available staff, great facilities, jacuzzi and top breakfast, with a beautiful view of the island of Folegandros. Great experience and we will definitely come back.

Very nice suites, helpful staff, the best spot to stay if you visit Folegandros, a couple of minutes walk from town but away from the noise and easy to park and at the same time fantastic views over the Aegean and the town and monastery. Highly recommended!

The best spot to stay in Folegandros!

This is undoubtedly a beautiful apartment/hotel, the room was of a very high standard and the terrace with jacuzzi pool and seating area, really wonderful. Views across to Chora are breathtaking but, I'm afraid there was a rather unusual ambience there - one that we wouldn't rush to return to. We arrived at the port from a wonderful stay in Milos and were met by a very unsmiling, not very friendly and un-welcoming chap who made such a fuss of putting our suitcase (just one) in the boot. He didn't engage in any pleasantries during the journey to the accomodation and when we did arrive he made more fuss with having to carry our suitcase up the steps. (my husband did offer to help). We were then shown to our apartment only to be given a whole list of things we couldn't do - now I appreciate that it's not advisable to use the pool with suncream on etc so all absolutely fine; but why not tell guests this in a more friendly and less 'telling off' way? 
Breakfast is included, you have to pre-order the evening before by a certain time and we were told if we didn;t do this we would not receive breakfast. We duly completed the forms during our stay and twice were given incorrect things, but hey we were on holiday and didn't want to make a fuss, so let it go. Our aprtment looked over the main road, and whilst not a hugely busy one, when there was traffic it definitely felt like it was right outside.
On departure, our 'friend' agian took great drama in taking our suitcase to the car and when I asked him if everything was ok, he told me he had a sore knee. 
Folegandros is amazing and one of the few Greek islands we would return to due to how beautiful and friendly it was, however, we won't be returning to Kifnes Suites. We didn't feel particularly relaxed there, which is what being on holiday is about.

Beautiful setting, but...

Another visit to Folegandros after a two year absence, and of course, another stay at Kifines Suites. Angelo picked us up from the harbour, gave us a quick run through of 'what's what' with the accommodation and all was good. Very comfortable bed, very clean rooms and shower/bathroom, nothing was a problem. Breakfasts were really good and delivered at or just before the requested time - needed to be ordered the day before which wasn't a problem, and plenty of choices given to select what you wanted. Checkout was easy, all paperwork (receipt etc) was ready (Thanks Evdokia), and Dimitri was available to take us back to the harbour with plenty of time.
Highly recommended - we may be back in another 2 years.

Still excellent!

We enjoyed a wonderful third return visit to Kifines Suites. We stayed in the Superior Suite for five nights and, as in our previous visits, had a great experience. The suite is very comfortable, spacious, clean and offers breathtaking views of the sea and Chora (the main village). A big thank you to Angelo and Evdokia (who run the place) and to Dimitris for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning to Kifines soon.
