Nirvana Beach Hotel

When I chose Nirvana Beach I didn't realise I would be spending the best holidays ever in Paradise. A friendly family guest house with an amazing atmosphere lets you relax deeply surrounded by lovely views. The core of this place are the PEOPLE- helpful, open for tourist and highly kind. Your wish is their order. Rooms are simple and clean, (cleaned every day, a complete change of towels and bedsheets), you get a small bottles of shampoos and shower gels and there is a hair dryer in each room. The rooms are being gradually renovated. I got the best room with the panoramic view over the sea and kites and in the evenings I cherished my eyes with fantastic sunsets from my private balcony. The restaurant is situated on the hotel's spacious Veranda so you eat your meals overwieving the see in a cascade of beautiful flowers. I chose the option of three meals a day and I absolutely adored the formula of it. Breakfast-a huge choice of dishes served to the table, lunch and dinner a'la carte consisting of 3-5 dishes, including traditional Rhodesian finger food and dishes of Greek cuisine. This way of serving meals was a fantastic option for me as I hate hunting for food in all inclusive buffets and I hate when people waste food in such hard times of famine and wars in the world. Bravo for the manager for this idea ! In this option you receive a good quality, delicious food without leaving your table. I was full after each meal and the portions were huge enough (too huge for me). I didn't have to spend extra money for food outside the hotel, excluding the trip days. I would be also glad to see my favourite "bekri meze" in the menu in the future if possible. The swimming pool is another advantage of the hotel. You can relax on the sunbeds with a really small number of guests by the pool so you have a feeling of swimming in your private swimming pool. The hotel is situated in a very quiet part of the island, without crowds of tourists, hassle and bussle of big citicies, close to Theologos village, where you can find supermarkets, souvenir shops (reasonable prices) and more restaurants (10minutes walk). Rhodes is about 20km from here and you can get there by bus (the stop on the other side of the road). The Butterfly Valley is 8km from the hotel and it is an absolute must-see on your list, the best way is to visit it by taxi, (the hotel may order one for you even a day before a planned trip). I also visited Lindos and Symi but there are many optional trips offered by national travel agencies or the local ones. I would like to thank the whole staff of Nirvana Beach for being treated like a queen, overindulging me every day, focusing on my needs, creating an amazing ambience, giving me wonderful memories for the rest of my life. You all are working very hard, doing a fantastic job, I do appreciate it. Keep doing it. I wish all the best to each of you from the bottom of my heart. Missing you all already.
