Although I had a lot to do in Hanover, I had to drive to Soltau to get another room. Thanks to Messe Hannover. I liked the room I found in the barn. Everything is very clean. The boss is very friendly. Breakfast was completely sufficient and in order for the price. The location of the boarding house is very remote, but has its charm. All in all, a nice stay.

Nice short stay

I came to this boarding house on a business trip, and I must admit that before I got there I had some confusion about the location quite far from Hanover. Instead I have to reconsider: 40 minutes from the fair, just outside the A7 exit Soltau South, in the middle of the Lower Saxony countryside, there is this isolated but nice boarding house, even though in November the climate in northern Germany does not invite evening walks.

The dollhouse

The staff were extremely friendly however the rooms require a bit of an update. Our bed was located directly under where the roof slopes down so you couldn't sit up in bed. There were also many spiders, which is understandable in a rural area, but could be managed a bit better with screens in the windows and perhaps moving the furniture. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay and for the price I can recommend it, as long as you don't mind spiders. (also don't get scared by the loud bangs from the army base near by, only a few in the early evening).

Friendly but needs an update

A wonderful family run Gasthaus. We arrived after midnight on the day of check in and the lady had waited up for us, this was so good of her and we are very grateful. We enjoyed our stay, the breakfasts were delicious with so much choice and the two meals we had in the restaurant were excellent. Room 4 was spacious and comfortable but the double bed is not in a good position, the head being under the sloping ceiling made it difficult to turn over, so we put our pillows to the foot of the bed... problem solved for us but maybe they should consider putting the single bed where the double bed is. The double bed would be better on the other side of the partition wall. We would definitely stay at the lovely Heidehof again.

A Little bit of Heaven

The guesthouse is already very hidden, but the search is worthwhile. We will definitely be back - just because of the fries. The guesthouse is in the middle of fields and forests - and yet close to the highway. The service is excellent, the food is genuine homemade, and at the same time so lovingly prepared and prepared. Absolutely recommended!

Purely vacation

The boarding house is away from every civilization and at night it is very quiet. The rooms are lovely and decorated with love. Everything is very clean and at a price that is worth it!

Incredibly beautiful

This boarding house is a little bit young and old since there are also rooms on the ground floor so I always like clean rooms breakfast for everyone which is all super nice for us perfect let's say thank you and look forward to coming back soon just to recommend

It's just ridiculous.

Everything was great. The internet was a little slow, but the hotel is surrounded by forest, so it's understandable. Rich breakfast, and when we said we didn't eat pork (which wasn't a problem with the big selection), they brought us more cheese and vegetables.

Even brought me a carafe of hot water the night before so we could have tea and heated up some food for my son on their kitchen. Rooms were new and clean. Would come again.
