The Chalet is warm and well equipped, the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home.  The accommodation is hostel like, in that the rooms and shared shower rooms and toilets are clean with all your basic necessities catered for, although there are no en-suite facilities in the rooms, there are plenty of shower rooms and toilets on each floor.
Food was homely, hearty and very good, just what you need after a day at the ski slopes.

Short stay winter sports holiday

The chalet is large enough for big groups and with enough entertainment to feel like home.
There are plenty of toilets and bathroom for everyone.
The staff is very helpful and always find a solution.
There is pool, babyfoot, 2 TV, Xbox, sauna, bar, games, ski rental... available in the chalet.
Buses stop right at the chalet.

Nice place to fell like home

Skiing is often expensive and elitist - Montana in neither - I've been skiing annually/bi-annually for over 20 years and stayed in all types of accommodation in all the known (and some unknown) resorts.... Montana is clean, functional, charming and welcoming... Families with children, couples, singles - all rubbing shoulders in the most relaxed ski-chalet I've certainly ever been too.. take your slippers, pour yourself a beer from the bar and sink into one of the big sofas by the log fire...

The chalet is a one minute (I've timed it!) walk to the free shuttle bus that runs 10min up the valley to the Ardent bubble lift, this very quickly whisks you up to Les Lindarets - perfect access to the whole of the Portes du Soleil ski area. This also serves as the quickest way up and over to Avoriaz - bypassing the busy lifts and traversing runs of Super-Morzine.

Zeb the owner (who lives next-door with his wife and two children) is always on hand for advice on where to ski, eat & drink... And he'll sort out any hire gear and lift passes you need.

A unique take on Alpine accommodation - one we like very much!

It has about 15 rooms. A very welcoming, very smiling staff, who welcome you with open arms. Very spacious, very clean, and very complete rooms (change sheets, arrangements...) Ideal location for peace and yet very close to the slopes and the ice rink.

Just came back from a week's stay at Montana with a group of friends. I couldn't have been happier with the place - Zeb and his team made sure the whole week was relaxing and enjoyable. Best bits about Montana are the location - the free shuttle to Ardent and centre Morzine goes from the end of the drive - and the easy going environment - with chilled out bar, huge communal dinners and breakfasts, and games room. Zeb also made sure we got on the slopes quickly by arranging lift passes before we arrived and by fixing us with skis from the equipment he keeps onsite. Thanks everyone for a great week

Easy going haven in Morzine

YoYou will see that I do very few reviews. I am either too lazy or not impressed.
This review I hope will hold more weight given the later.
The team at the chalet are young, vibrant hardworking and great fun to be with. The bedrooms in the chalet are basic very clean and comfortable. Noise does travel from one floor to the next due the design and hard surfaces of the chalet.

I am a relatively light sleeper, I soon got used to this aided by wine at dinner and the odd jar at the bar as well as a full day skiing.

Hospitality and service are what I look for when I travel, this is in abundance at Montana. Examples are:
1/ Ski hire provided, allows you change boots skis should you have an issue
2/ Bus stop for the slopes is outside the chalet
3/ In the unlikely event the bar did not stock the particular tipple you like, Zeb would seek it out for you.
4/ Should you want a lazy day in the chalet, there are games, pool table, DVD galore, books and much more to entertain you.

There are many more examples of the fantastic service provided here. I am not going to say too much in case there is a mad rush for next year.
