Located right on the GR65/Chemin Le Puy near the exit gate of the beautiful village of Navarennx, this hotel is comfortable with what seemed to be the only restaurant inside the ramparts.  Great staff, great food. Highly recommend.  

Ideally situated for the GR65.
The owner of the hotel could not have been more helpful, I developed conjuctivites whilst walking and she arranged for me to see a doctor.
The rooms and food were very good indeed.

We had 2 nights in this hotel in the very hottest week in July. Our room was quite spacious with a comfortable bed and fast wifi. Bathroom was good with good water pressure. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning so I can’t give 5 stars. Village is really lovely and the restaurant of the hotel was delicious with very nice service. Breakfast was also very good. A beautiful town for a couple of night’s stay.

We had driven to Navarrenx for the morning and decided to stay for lunch. The town is tiny and we only saw this restaurant and a 24 hour pizza shop. Another restaurant around the corner was closed for a week (I think that was what we translated anyway).
However, we were not disappointed. We arrived at about 11.30am so had a coffee until lunch service began at midday. My husband had something meat related with small potatoes and a vegetable medley. I had tagliatelle with a very generous cod steak. The menu said it also came with veg, but that was actually one asparagus spear and a miniature carrot. This is the way in many restaurants in this region. 
The waiter was lovely and friendly and all in all it was a good experience. 

Party of six visited on a Wet September evening. Only restaurant open but worth a visit. Very spacious dining room and breakfast area, and clean.

Deserts a little slow being served.

The toilet was discoloured below the waterline and the two hairdryers didn't work. Those were the only problems. Everything else  was super; the bar, reception, room, bathroom, restaurant, dinner, breakfast, helpful service and lastly all at an unbelievably value for money price in an interesting historic small town on the edge of a river with some beautiful countryside roundabout.  Highly recommended.

On our trip of the Chemin st. Jacques we stayed in 30 different hotels. This hotel was one of the nicest we were in. Clean and well appointed. Good restaurant. And most of all a friendly and helpful staff that speak English. Located on a nice square with outside seating. I highly recommend if you are in this part of France.
