We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned there on our way back from our drive down South. We were welcomed with some excellent sparkling wine from Chinon by our very hospitable host Fabienne who went out of her way to make sure we and our dog Paddy were comfortable. The house is amazing, a fascinating building, where every room is interesting and the whole place oozes history and character. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes somewhere a bit different and memorable. Evening meals are not provided but we were invited to bring our picnic which we had on the delightful terrace.
