First time visit to Ecuador and first stay. Beautiful. Comfortable. Potable water access for filling water bottles.  Great hammocks. Near ocean and lovely restaurants. Had to pay for towels (reimbursed on return). Highly recommend. 

What a great first place to stay on first trip to Ecuador!

Very good location,facing the sea and just away from the very busy part of Montañita.It's perfect.The hotel is clean,the pool and the jacuzzi are enough.And then the sea right next door.The rooms are cleaned every day.Plutot is quiet,and even the noise of the sea is a little annoying at night.The rooms are not super large nor very original,but functional the bedding is good.The reception is standard.The prices are quite cheap in this early 2020 (about 17 dollars per night/pers) At least there is the little dej,soluble coffee and just one loaf of bread or butter cooked in the hygiene kitchen......

The perfect situation

A terrible service from the beginning, they have no vocation to service and especially everything that includes for the heat of the breakfast they direct you to a car service kitchen where the kitchen is completely dirty and what they have for you is a loaf of water and a jam in a jar for several days.

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable, friendly people, has a swimming pool and is in the center of the mountain girl's nightlife. No it's expensive. Clean bathrooms. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a good view of the beach.

Be very careful when checking in this place. First of all they only accept cash, secondly they DO NOT have a machine or marker to check $100 bills. I checked in this hostal a few weeks ago, about 11:30 PM or so; my friends and i were going to play with a credit card, but because this place do not accept that, we had to pay with cash. Our bill was around $85 dollars or so, consequently we paid with a new $100 dollar bill, the ones that have the blue line the new ones; the receptionist took the bill and he didn't check it or anything, he just put the bill in a  drawer near him and gave us back the change. For us his attitude was very strange but we didn't say anything at that time, since he was kind of friendly. All was good so far. After 2 or so hours this same receptionist came to the club where we were having a blast with my friends and told us that the $100 bill that we gave him was fake!!! AFTER 2 FREAKING HOURS!!!! We pretty much had to go back to the hostal and see what he was taking about. He then showed us an old version of a $100 dollar bill, which he was saying that it was the only one that he had before closing his shift. To make this story short, The police came after a few minutes and we had to go to see the judge the next day to solved problem. At the end i had to give this guy the receptionist $30 dollars more, because he kept his story saying that the bill we gave him was FAKE!!!!!. Everyone,  be careful on this place, the people that work there are very shady.

We went to Montañita before the Carnival, there was almost no one and it was raining. So the prices of the hotels were low. The place is very clean and tidy. It has a large staff, very friendly and attentive. The rooms are not very large but have air conditioning. More than enough. No breakfast, but eight to ten loaves of bread and coffee available to your guests. To my taste the place is too close to the bustling area of Montañita, but it is ideal if you go with your partner for the season.

The jacuzzi and swimming pool are well worth it.

A good seafront hostel with a good swimming pool and a very good hydromassage pool, a simple but adequate room, we liked the very well equipped kitchen only that the reception staff was a little ridiculous as they did not invite us to a little salt and they did not have good information.

I had the opportunity to travel and stay in this place and I truly recommend it 100% the view from its balconies is divine see kilometers of beach, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the attention from the staff was very good sound very friendly.

An excellent hostel.

It's one of the best hotels we (hubby and I) stayed in Ecuador. The room's clean, safe, quiet, and with a great beach view. 
We both enjoyed watching and listening to the waves of the ocean while relaxing in the hammock (there's one in our room's patio). 
It's a bit expensive though, and the receptionists weren't very nice. The owner Charo was a little snob, and didn't really bother to smile nor greet her guests at least. I even said "thank you" to her and to the receptionist both times when we checked in and out, but neither of them responded.


With a very good view

My family and I stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed it very much. The rooms are clean and the sea view is very nice with an umbrella on the balcony to relax a little. Very nice also the fact that they make available the kitchen for anyone who wants to cook or make breakfast... at the suggestion of the staff we bought some pastries in the front bakery and had breakfast serving La Cocina. The swimming pool and hydromassage are also very nice to spend in the sunset till night. All the staff experience was very cordial.
