The hotel is located very close to the center of Montañita, but far enough away so that the noise of the parties does not prevent you from sleeping. They have very comfortable rooms, a large bed with a mosquito bed, and a large bathroom with hot water. Jorge is a great host, made our stay safe and full of attention. There is a small estate with palosanto trees and bananas, with guinea chickens, geese, ducks, I look adorable. It has a parking lot inside. The price is fantastic. Returned. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and wonderful.

Lovely room and bathroom. The grounds are super cool if you like animals :) Filtered water in the kitchen is a real bonus!

There is a lot of wildlife and the birds started making noise from around five. Didn't bother us though.

Animal lovers!

I returned to Montañita after three and a half years. I always choose this hostel and I don't regret it. The place is ideal, whether you come to enjoy the night or if you come to relax and relax. The rooms are in the middle of a beautiful park full of animals that make the place so picturesque and familiar. The location is also within walking distance of the restaurants and nightclubs. Not to mention the family of Ale y Jorge... Love is little to say. Both they and their children are pure love and always willing to help you, provide you with information and return us together for a while. You have a very large and comfortable kitchen at your disposal.

It is a paradise.

The best thing about Montañita was the hostel.The place is located in the middle of nature and birds.The room was beautiful and comfortable, the wi-fi works smoothly.Don Jorge and his family a charm.I would return with my eyes closed, I would definitely recommend it.

It is excellent.

After reading so many good reviews, I thought I'd be fine, but it wasn't. I was touched by a room facing the street, so I couldn't sleep because everything that people were talking about was being heard on the sidewalk (I'm not exaggerating).

There is no regression.

This is a cute little hostel away from the noise and party in Montanita. It has a big garden with all kinds of animals, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and very friendly staff. All you can ask for. The rooms were very clean also. Can recommend.

I love this hostel

Beautiful hostel. Lots of animals. Beautiful and clean rooms. Everything works and well equipped kitchen. Very nice and caring housekeeper (jorge).
We loved our stay there.
There are mosquitoes but as in every place near the cost but the beds have nets so not a big problem.
You have to use repellent anywhere in Montañita it's even worse near the beach.

A clean place, good location, kind people and willing to help, the same place has to walk and relax with a kitchen for those who want to cook and the rooms have private bathrooms.

We were warmly welcomed in this hostel! You felt like part of the family. The hostel is superbly located, but still quietly close to the center. The room is rustically kept, all made of wood. The windows are without disk, which was a bit cold, but you got blankets from the hostel father free of charge! Shower and toilet are separate, warm water! This hostel is definitely recommended!

Definitely the best hostel!

We had high hopes of this hostel because of the good ratings on different websites. We arrived in the dark. To reach the room it is necessary to go 100 meters trough the garden. It was almost impossible to reach our room because the gooses in the garden where trying to attack us (could almost not believe that this was happening). Also there where a lot of insects in the room since it is an open room. We decided to book another hostel for the same night. If you are looking for a challenging authentic place to stay, this might be a place for you. If you search for some comfort this is not it. The staff was friendly though. Montanita is a party place with a lot of international party people. If you are looking for a more quiet place try Ayangue, there is also tourism but mainly locals. Better to experience the local culture and chill down.
