The main feeling is about the lack of cleanness  .. there is always a very unpleasant smell of dog in the atmosphere  ! ...Lobby in very poor condition ? Some beach armchairs completely destroyed  ??? all that does not contribute to a smart and confident feeling !

Not very clean

I had a bad experience at Be Live Hamaca in Boca Chica. When I reserved the room I was told it was all inclusive. When I arrived all the restaurants and bars were closed. So I walked down the beach to a hotel I had stayed at several years ago. Don Michelle. The owner ,Mario, is doing some renovating as Covid has brought tourism to a standstill and is a good time to do it. He said if I didn't mind the mess he would rent me a room and even though the kitchen was closed he would cook for me. Mario was an Italian chef in Europe. The food was as good as any 5 star hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. it was a marvelous stay which I look forward to repeating again.

The hospitality, quietness and, above all, Mario's culinary talent, combined with an atypical decoration, make this a real plan for staying in Boca Chica.

Good and good

Hello everyone, I want to write a review about this Hotel on the calle Duarte de Boca Chica, a hotel suitable for spending a vacation in the sign of fun, relaxation and good cuisine, it seems to be in the family like at home....Thanks to the fantastic Mario (owner) who delights with sympathy and taste thanks to his fantastic dishes all the time staying and the whole team especially Salvatore always kind and available.... FANTASTIC!!!!!

Big holiday.

I had probably the best room (No. 8): spacious, with the large terrace with beautiful views on the Caribbean Sea. Clean and everything worked. Italian seafood dinner was a bit expensive (1400 pesos incl. drinks), but worth every cent of it. There was some children noise from the beach at the doorstep, but everything went quiet at 10 PM. Good sleep. On a negative side English is not the language the staff speaks best ;-)

Excellent weekend experience... will be back

The first impressions are usually the most important and in this case the most important. It is accessed through the parking lot, because its front faces lead directly to the beach. And the image is of a house in ruins. You access the rooms without anything or anyone controlling access, which makes it very unsafe. The facilities are ruinous. The room's equipment is less than basic. A mattress on a bedroom, no headroom or tabletop or furniture at all. A table with 2 chairs, one of them plastic, typical of a terrace. A bathroom that the tank had no lid and had only a meter to discharge the water. No telephone with reception. The area is the feast area, because the street is closed and you have the one there all night. The portico of a ruler that runs through the courtyard is the one that is used for the day or night.

It seems to be in derribo.

The kitchen is against the law it doesn't even respect the most basic hygiene rules, it literally sucks! often the hot water doesn't come because there are often technical flaws, so says the owner.

Do not go, but avoid

I had a lot of trouble with this hotel because there was no security and I was broken into twice in my apartment and my first time was stolen my cell phone, watch, money and a hearing aid while I was sleeping...the second time I was not in the apartment, they went in and took away all my signature tennis clothes from the nike including my underwear! I filed two complaints with the national police and one with the tourist police!.

Beware of burglars in the rooms.

Very nice and cozy hotel, courtesy kindness and maximum availability, I recommend it to everyone for an unforgettable holiday and then there's Mario the owner person excellent as few at the helm ☆☆☆☆

A dream vacation😀

The hotel on one side is right on the main street of boca chica, on the other side is literally on the beach. the common lobby gate, which overlooks the bar, is two and a half meters from the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Mario, the landlord, is honest and very friendly, does not give advice. Trust him to get you in touch with the excursionists, we found ourselves very well. THE rooms are honest, some new, others almost a little bit, but all dignified clean at a maniacal level, with the daily lingerie change, with air conditioning, safety box, WIFI, new bathroom and TV channels.
