Very clean and great staff that prepped our room early. We felt safe for being in the city and everything we needed was within walking distance.  After our car delivery it was very easy to leave to the north.

For the price an excellent well taken care of Place.  Person in charge was in many text conversation because of late arrival. Only down side Perhaps for some no elevators.

Good location.  Very clean.  Vicky was a pleasure to work with and stayed after hours until I was able to arrive.  Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

The owner was there to meet me.  The room was perfect. I had a wonderful night's sleep.Great recommendation for dinner.  Got me an easy and inexpensive cab for the early morning departure.Much more personal touch than with a big hotel - and more room.  Also liked being in an area where I could walk to shops and restaurants.

This luxury gem is centrally located. The owner was amazing in helping us get settled in, find food, and relax for the evening before our flight the following day. I wasn’t aware that it came with such a nice balcony and kitchen. After three weeks in Costa Rica we finally had the best hot shower. Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how comfortable the bed was! Also, if you have time, walk across the road and catch a Catholic mass. The people were so friendly and the music was beautiful!

We had a rough start to our trip because of flight delays but Vicky was absolutely amazing. We were able to check in many hours late and she made sure we had a warm, hearty breakfast (even after serving time was over). The hotel was clean, good parking and good food. Would recommend for staying before or after a late/early flight. Gracias

This hotel is fine to stay for a night on flights in and out of SJO.  We arrived just after sunset and fortunately the management was still able to receive us and accommodate our parking requirements.  A lovely Breakfast was provided the following AM, our 1st experience with CR Rice & Beans. We LOVED it and ordered it every place we went in CR.  The hotel is gated.  We didn’t feel safe in the city after dark.

Centrally located gem!

It was a little hard to get our large car into the parking space of the hotel, but the owner was sweet and very helpful, guiding us via text and then in person when we tracked down the entrance in the rain.Very nice, simple, clean and well-stocked room and super friendly staff. We enjoyed our brief stay and were able to make it to the airport on time.

I was traveling solo and one of the most important for me was to be in a safe place I felt very safe and service was so good !The lock door where my bedroom was suppose to be wasn’t working property and they changed me to another room. The only thing was that air conditioner wasn’t very cold but it didn’t bother me ! Overall was a great one night stay They coordinate a taxi to take me to the airport as well

Great place to spend a night before our flight home. The host met us at the door when we arrived and was up at 4:30am to see us off. My wife and I walked to several nice restaurants just 8 minutes away. Very close to the airport, very clean and great value!  Had A/C and a refrigerator to keep some food cold.  Safe, gated parking but definitely not a lot of room. We had a mid sized SUV which fit fine, but anything bigger would be a tight fit. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Alajuela within a few minutes drive from San Jose airport. It looks like a gated compound in the middle of a street block. Their reception is open only till 6 PM but due to slow holiday traffic we were late and arrived only around 9 PM. The manager was still waiting for us, opened the gate and showed us our room and parking. Our room was actually an apartment with a bedroom, a kitchenette and  a laundry room with washer and dryer. All rooms were very clean but there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Other than that, we had comfortable sleep and only needed a few minutes to drive to the airport to catch our flight at 6 AM.

We stayed here the first night we arrived in costa rica. This Hotel is very close to the Airport and in close proximity you have everything you need to equip yourself for traveling the country. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy and all the staff was very nice. We didn‘t want to stay for longer in alajuela, but for our needs this hotel was perfect.

This was a perfect stay for purposes of returning to the airport the next day. The area is very run down and felt unsafe, but inside the gates of the hotel were clean and safe.Plan on bringing noise canceling headphones to be sure you can sleep. There was lots of traffic and noise outside until 10:00 PM or so. This would not have been a problem if not having to get up at 1:30 AM for a very early flight.The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. If I were basing my review on the staff alone, it would be 10/10. Great people!
