We went on a tour with the group. We went to the coconut milk bathroom, got a towel and went to the area. We went to the tea and wine bathroom. The bathroom was small, with different types of swimming pools, a pool for adults, a pool for children with hot dogs, a place for rest and snacks and something like a bar.

Excursion to the thermal springs

The hotel is located far away from the sea, but a very large green area with thermal springs, entrance is free once a day. The staff is welcoming. The rooms are huge 55 and more square meters. Amazing view from the balcony to the lake. In the evening colorful lighting. The birds sing. In the evening mosquitoes fly. There is a fumigator in the room.

A wonderful vacation.

The hotel is in the jungles. The air is completely different than on the coast. Fresher than we thought. The rooms: not the newest, but quite enough. There is air conditioning. The bed is very hard, apparently for medical purposes. There is an exit to the balcony. The room is very large. The food: breakfast is good, but without excrement.

Three days in the real jungle

From March 29 to April 9, I and my three children rested in China, N.A. Island of Hainan, Sanja at Pearl River Nantian Resort & SPA The highlight of this tour was - hot springs where we wet and warmed ourselves under the open sky and the shady palm trees of Hanang - 2 days! I came cold, and the children just got sick. I recovered in those two days, and the children got up! On the territory of this resort there is a spa with a large area. There is a regular swimming pool, a mini-aquarium with mountain stands and 62 bathrooms with delicious snacks and extra food by the same medical prescription.

I recommend you to restore your health and relax!

We were on vacation in 2013! We came on vacation! The tour was 3 days we stayed in this hotel, and then on the coast. The hotel was amazing right away! The huge territory, the jungle! It was quickly populated! The room was a villa, on the first floor its own yard, with its huge mini-pool with mineral water! The excellent terrace! A fancy bathroom, equipped with everything! A personal cabinet, a huge room! The room was everything! The young staff and the hotel, everything for a great vacation! 3 days lived like a fairy tale! The breakfast is divine! The territory with the fountains is just paradise!!! So many huge and small pools, with a variety of donuts, herbs, coffee, beer, tea, and 3 swimming pools. It's a great place to relax!!!

Stayed for 2 nights which made me not to return as it was devoid of basic amenities like food outlets, vending machines or activities to pass your time there. You just sleep out your time or walk, run or go to their hot spring pools but remember you need to buy food from somewhere else or starve the evening through. I was astonished why such a big resort does not offer food outlets for its guests or install vending machines to tie over between meals. In short, it was not worthwhile spending your time there

A resort without collegial services

The place was recommended by a hotel staff, it really sopiled our day. We went to there to relax after a long day out, i took two kids(4,7years old). It was very pricey, they charged half prices for our kids( we have never been charged in beijing) ..it was waste of money and journey..the pool were very dirty and we even saw a rat running cross the pools. The shower rooms were awful and disgusting, the changing rooms were all very dirty..never ever go again..

No way!!

Excellent stay in the heart of the hot spring complex. Magnificent villa equipped with a large jacuzzi on the terrace roof. The room is very well equipped, the bedding is perfect, the service is excellent, in short everything is perfect. The complex has 2 restaurants (Chinese or Western), and a restaurant for breakfast. The top will still remain the magnificent complex of ten pools scattered among the coconut trees. The many pools powered by thermal water (38° to 42°) allow for real relaxation.

Formidable

This was an amazing hotel. Built in the hot springs area, there are some 68 hot springs (and one freezing one) for you to dip in, all in the grounds. Each spring has a 'tea bag' of herbs or some other addition, giving each spring a different smell and purpose. Together with the big infinity pool, a water park area with slides and water cannons and the pools with fish that nibble away the dead skin (fine once you get over the tickling and does leave skin feeling good), it is easy to see hours just slide away here. 

It looks like the whole resort is fairly new, so some areas are not fully functional but it is quite quiet which is a bonus. When the rest of the hotel, the adjoining hotel and the plethora of hotels along the nearby coast are built, I suspect the resort will be swamped with an overload of visitors like many of the developed resorts in China. 

Talking of the building of hotels, there is loads of work going on along the Haitang Bay coastline. We took the free minibus down there one afternoon but there is nothing there apart from a nice bit of beach and a restaurant further along the coast. No vendors, no activities, no shade, nothing. The sea is too dangerous to swim in so you will be fine if all you want to do is lay on a hot beach but you need to come prepared! Once the hotels along the whole stretch are opened, I suspect the shops and vendors will follow but with so many hotels in such a short stretch, I am sure it will be packed again.

There are bus stops on site for a number 29 bus. We never saw a bus though and the receptionist explained (I think) that it wasn't running yet. A real shame as it has just a few stops at major tourist points such as the resort, Yalong, Sanya and Nanshan. Will be perfect if it ever runs.

There is also a free bus into Dadong. This is a more interesting place with shops and restaurants, but suffers from having a packed beach and overpriced activities. Transport times are, erm, 'limited' and buses are rarely on time so actually making it to Dadong can be a challenge.

The hotel itself is very nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there is usually someone who speaks some English on duty. Most signs and menus also have English and there is a nod towards the western breakfast although the whole thing appears to be set up for Chinese and Russian. We stayed in a split-level room which was excellent. Nice views, plenty of space, good air con but typically hard beds. Facilities were good and maid did a good job of cleaning up after us each day! Because it is a fairly big site and the breakfast restaurant a bit of a hike, there are electric golf carts that run you everywhere. Possibly due to the hotel being undercapacity at present, however, these appeared to stay at the main reception area so most days we ended up having to walk somewhere as a buggy and driver were nowhere to be found. 

There is a little shop on site as part of the employee accommodation. This gives a bit more flexibility if you don't want to visit one of the on-site restaurants or fancy taking something into the springs area. Other than that, there is little in the way of shops and activities and the whole resort is quite isolated. Reception will order a taxi for you but it takes about an hour to arrive and comes with a call-out fee.

Overall? If you are happy to just chill in the springs for a few days, this is perfect. Entrance into the springs area and breakfast were included in our rate which kind of made the actual room free! If, however, you are staying for longer or want to see a bit more of the island, perhaps somewhere more central would be suitable.

Fabulous for a quiet break - at the moment

Nantian Hotspring was a resort but we went for the hotspring facility.

From Yalong Bay train station we took a private car (unable to get taxi) to Hai-Tang Bay Nantian Hotspring about 35mins RMB100. 

Entrance fee RMB198/pax inclusive locker, shower, towel, unlimited use for hotspring. 

The Hotspring are of different tub added with flavor - coconut/ flower/ Chinese herbs/ fruity/ ginger/ small fish that like to clean your dead cells on feet, Etc.. 

I prefer the proper natural tub with no added gimmicks at a temperature of 47C which is good with a short dip. Very slowly adjust your body to adapt to the temperature for full body dipping.  

Overall facilities were good and clean. 

Return with the same private car to Da-Dong-Hai area hotel for RMB100 at 45-50mins.
