37 reviewsThis is not a huge, chain hotel, and one got the feeling it didn't get a lot of foreign tourists-- that said, it exceeded our expectations. Our suite actually had quite dramatic windows and views, wall to wall in the living area, and a bubbled window in the bedroom. The bathroom was interesting, in that it was all glass (there were shades you could pull down for privacy) . The location was excellent, straight down a couple blocks from the Inter Continental. The included buffet breakfast was great. It was the only hotel we saw that had a water filter tap built into its sink-- fabulous! No CNN, but it did have the english language CCTV 9. Most of the staff had very limited english, but the assistant manager on duty when we checked out spoke very well and went above and beyond to help us (get to our 3 gorges boat tour). And, the price was unbeatable. If you're looking for a clean, nice place to stay and don't mind straying from the western chain, I highly recommend this hotel.
