5 reviewsWe stayed here for 4 nights and overall the hotel is very good. Our room was a suite and was probably the best hotel accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was huge and certainly big enough to live in ! The bar was very poor and not in anyway geared to western demands. Very few drinks available and not even permanently staffed. Breakfast was extensive but as with many Chinese hotels the food available could have been for lunch or dinner as the whole range of things was included. Western tastes were not catered for at all but this is understandable as it would seem that western visitors to this city are few and far between. The overall cleanliness was very good & although the staff did not speak English (apart from one or two) they were very helpful to the best of their ability. The hotel is in a nice location next to a large lake with lovely walks along the shore. It is well out of the centre of the city but taxi fares are extraordinarily cheap so this is not a problem.
