We felt as if we were welcomed by friends who owned a beautiful country house. François and Annie are natural and generous hosts. They create a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Although animated by the joyful activities of the farmhouse, the house was bathing in the calm countryside of that beautiful summer day. In the evening we went out to dinner at one of the best tables in the area. On our return we found our room pleasant and comfortable. In the morning, François served us a sweet breakfast in a relaxed and joyfully lively atmosphere, this without feeling invaded. One to those who like my word and Annie alone, we usually avoid having the mercies here: the two rooms are perfectly clean, but we do not have a problem in the bathroom. We have a good morning, so we do not feel invaded.

What wonderful times!

We spent the night in this magical place! François and Annie booked us a very warm welcome. The room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. All in an idyllic setting with nearby farm animals (rabbit, goat, lama and even Auguste l'Autruche). We would have liked to stay longer! Perfect location for a visit to Bic. Marine and Édouard Park

A corner of paradise

If you're looking for a cottage around the Bic, feel free to do so. It's the fault of the biscuits is a charming place, and the owners are adorable.

An incredible welcome

We spent 2 nights here this past week. The owners, Annie and Francois are warm, wonderful, helpful, interesting, and entertaining. Their house, B&B, farm and property is peaceful, in a beautiful quiet setting, not to mention only a few minutes drive from the small quaint town of Le Bic (which by the way has some top notch restaurants), and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful Parc National du Bic (stunning bike trails and hiking). The rooms and communal space are spotless, cozy and bright. For all you get, this place is extremely reasonably priced. Francois cooks breakfast and oh, what a treat! Most everything was either from their farm, or locally procured. Our first breakfast included their own lamb bacon, lamb pate, local cheeses, homemade rhubarb sauce and homemade strawberry compote, a quail egg, and duck eggs on bagels, as well as bread from the local bakery. Both Annie and Francois are a delight to talk to....we can't remember when we have laughed so heartily and so easily with people we have just met. We will always remember fondly our stay at Gate C'est La Faute des Biquettes.

A Real Gem

The reception is approximate and disorganized, parking is complicated, and there are very few choices of food to bring and prices are very expensive, but for those with young children, visiting the farmhouse can be interesting.

Disappointing

I know my evaluation is late but I wanted to write a good word for this beautiful place. The educational farm is really interesting and the site is charming. The owners are nice and if you get the chance to eat the strawberry butter from the owners... it's completely stupid :) the place is clean and well maintained and the room is very well maintained, Ma tres was perfect and the bed is comfortable. The lunch was really good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I recommend it for families, couples and solo!

Great B+B

We were very well received by Annie, François and their daughter on their farm or rule the calm and gentleness. The animals are kings and happy, we enjoyed caressing them and spending time with them. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. A special mention for Chef François's breakfast that is going crazy trying to please us. Come here so you don't want to go back and especially to keep these unique addresses going.

A wonderful family in a dream home

We had the pleasure of spending a night in the b&b. We were very warmly received. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. We enjoyed the surroundings and the farm. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality - we felt at home. It's a shame we could only stay one night. It's always a pleasure to meet people like Annie and François. Merci beaucoup. Grosses bises. Ralf et Renate.

Hospitality

Surprised and enthusiastic! The hostel consists of a main house where the guests live, several stables with horses, goats, sheep, various old pig breeds, rabbits, ducks and a straw. And lastly the caravan where the owners of the hostel live. The reception is warm and the owners really care about their guests. If they don't, they are either busy with the animals or visitors to the farmhouse. The hostel can also be visited for free. The hostel is, however, the breakfast that all guests eat together at 8:30 a. It will be celebrated like a go-ahead meal.

This experience should not be missed!

I really wanted to stay on a farm with sheep, and this was it! The family was sooo charming, Annie even took my 24 year old daughter into the woods to pick chanterelle mushrooms. Lots of different animals to see. Very friendly family. Thank you!!!
