This is a fantastic place to stay; very comfortable and quiet. The Walker room is great; it has a four poster bed - very comfortable. Breakfasts are marvelous, four courses with freshly squeezed orange juice. The owners are so kind and friendly; they make you feel so welcome. We stayed three nights celebrating our anniversary.  lots of winerys to visit in this area.

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We did have our own bathroom but it was at the opposite end of the hallway. It had a fantastic shower. Breakfast was great in the backyard in a very peaceful setting. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice B&B

Thanks to the owners of this lovely B&B .
They are so sweet, kind, and friendly.
Great location to the main area of the town, wineries, parks and beaches. 

The room was perfectly appointed, everything we needed and very private.Breakfast was delicious and everything was done to perfection(especially if you admire french cuisine)
If you're looking for a safe, super clean ,delightful place, and testy breakfast this is the one.
We would never hesitate to recommend this place!

The hosts are friendly, the breakfast superb (a bit too large unless you are an 18-year-oldrugby player), and the room very comfortable. I had a 4-poster bed with an adjoining bathroom. The later had a high-tech toilet (light, warm set, Jacuzzi tub, and bidet. The grounds offer shady trees and flower. It is one block from the ferry to Pelee Island. At $160, it is a bit pricey for some travelers.

Very nice place. Very pretty. Food is AMAZING! Very clean. I've never been to a B&B before. There wasn't anything left wanting for. Bed is super comfortable. Very quiet. Most relaxing! 6 out of 5 stars!

Wow. Very nice!

The breakfast was outstanding. Four courses with fresh fruit, hot croissants and English muffins, Apple souffle and sausage and ... breakfast dessert of baked pear and ice cream.
 
Our host, Roland was very friendly with a quick sense of humour.

The king size bedroom was large and the bed and bedding very comfortable with even a tiny sliver of a lake view.

The washroom though private to the room was at the other end of the hall. Not an issue for me. It was extremely clean and came with a 6 foot shower and sauna.

The flower gardens are beautiful and the location was excellent. One can walk to the dock, the park and even downtown to some fabulous restaurants in a short amount of time.

Never having been to Kingsville before I will find a reason to visit again and will choose this B&B.

Delicious and Delightful!

Coming from Calgary..we had the opportunity to stay/relax here for a full day in mid-July before moving onto London for a family get together. Mettawas End is simply charming. Bedroom was clean, well appointed, quiet and air conditioned. Very comfortable. Private bathroom (down the hall) with large shower and sauna. Lovely. The home just oozes history and coziness. Our host Roland could not have been more accommodating and kind. Showed us his home and shared a little of its history, recommended places to eat, or encouraged us just to grab a book and read inside or outside to relax. Roland's homemade 4 course breakfasts creations are from another time..tasty, local ingredients, freshly cooked and hot main course. Everything served was presented with care, pride and very yummy. Our stay was very enjoyable...told our family in Ontario that if your in Kingsville...its a must to stay a night or two ! Thanks Roland.

Mettawas End B&B - Awesome, Relaxing stay.

This is a heritage home with period furniture and comfortable sitting common areas indoors and plenty of intimate tables outdoors in the garden and on the terrace right outside the Walker room.   We had read the reviews of the fabulous breakfasts and were not disappointed.  Breakfast was served in the dining room and included  freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, hot croissants, eggs and desserts, a different breakfast each of the three days.  Even more delicious than we expected.  Truly a wonderful vacation.  We had an excellent three night stay and our hosts Roland and Megan were great.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed here for three nights.  Breakfasts were amazing.  Very filling and the presentation was artistic.   The bed was comfortable and the private bathroom at the end of the hall was spacious.  Our host was congenial.

Heritage B&B with tremendous breakfasts

Beautiful home. Excellent location to go across to the Island, restaurants, and wineries. Roland was so helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The sauna in the bathroom was an extra bonus. Expectations are now set high,  breakfast will never be the same again!
