A Touch of English Bed & Breakfast

Excellent stay - incredible hospitality, quiet location, and the breakfasts were amazing. I really appreciated Clare taking dietary considerations in mind. Loved that the suites are pet-friendly so we could bring our puppy along. Great value and great hosts, we’ll be back again!

We spent 2 nights at A Touch of English on the way back to Vancouver.  The property sits high up away from the centre of Kelowna and has a nice pool and wonderful views.   The house is lovely and the room we stayed in was very comfortable.  Clare and Kelly made us feel very welcome from the outset and the breakfasts were very good.   We walked to a nearby pub for dinner, about 30 minutes.  Kelowna is a very attractive town and we were very happy with our choice of place to stay.

My wife and I stayed with Clare and Kelly a couple of weeks ago.  We had a fabulous time.  The accomodations are beautiful, and they are the best hosts!   Kelowna is a beautiful town and the B & B is in a great spot.   We'd highly recommend it, and look forward to possibly visiting again in the future!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at a touch of English bed and breakfast. Rooms delightful, breakfast beyond yummy and Claire and Kelly are by far the most welcoming hosts…the rooms so relaxing and the backyard a soothing retreat

What a relaxing and classy place.  Clare and Kelly make a great team.  Breakfast was always very good.  Plenty to eat but not so much you couldn’t move for two hours!
My room was very spacious, light and comfortable.  Bathroom worked well - plenty of space and light.

It was an amazing experience, Clare was the perfect hostess, delivering a real touch of old school English hospitality, high tea each day. Kelly's food was outstanding and  every day a new breakfast treat to experience. We would highly recommend the  B&B  as well as the location, a short Uber ride down town, lots of local information from Clare.
The catch line is "Come as Guests leave as Friends," I can say that is a perfect description of our visit. Not only that, but whenever new guests arrived we made new friends.
We will be back next time we are in Kelowna.

Clare and Kelly are fantastic hosts. The house is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. We had everything we needed- robes, nice towels, and a mini fridge. The bed was incredibly comfortable- the sheets, pillows, and mattress were luxurious. The breakfast Kelly made each morning was something different and always delicious. Clare had great advice and recommendations on where to go hiking, wine tasting, and dine out. I would absolutely love to go back!

Thank you Clare and Kelly for a warm welcome and the excellent home cooked breakfasts!  We stayed in the Devon room with a view of the pool and the lights of the city.  The room was spacious and clean and had a fireplace for atmosphere.  We would definitely recommend A Touch of English to our family and friends.

We had a lovely stay with Clare and Kelly!  Our room had a wonderful view of the mountains, and was very comfortable. When we arrived Clare provided wineglasses and  invited us to sit on the deck above the garden and pool and relax after our drive. The breakfasts were unbeatable - best hollandaise sauce ever, and Clare's recommendations for wineries and restaurants were spot on. We would love to visit again!

Awesome B & B!

Wonderful stay!

What a wonderful B & B close to all Kelowna attractions but in a very quiet neighbourhood.  After a glitch upon arrival, all was fantastic.  Very clean and comfortable.  Hosts were welcoming and friendly, breakfast was lovely and plentiful as was afternoon tea with yummy homemade scones served in their pretty living room. Parking was easy.

Lovely quiet B & B

The hosts, clare and kelly, were very nice. Upon arrival we were greeted with scones and tee by the pool, which were absolutely delicious. Same was the breakfast, kelly really does a great job with that, altough you might tell them in advance if you’re vegetarian. Breakfast also comes with the cutest company, tobi the cat. They have a pool, which you’re free to use any time, towels included. The first evening clare even brought us fresh shrimp to the pool. The suites are very modern, lovely decorated and come with everything you might need and more. It is a short drive into the city and to the lake/beach, but it’s worth it, for the views you get. Overall everyone in our family enjoyed their stay and were very pleased with the recommendations for activities and sightseeing, their services, friendliness and especially the outstanding breakfast they serve.

Very beautiful

This was a wonderful place tucked up in a quiet neighborhood away from all the “touristy” activities but close enough to enjoy those places when we wanted to. The view is beautiful from the balcony in the back. We arrived in the afternoon just in time for scones and tea that our gracious hostess had just prepared. The breakfasts were so satisfying with fresh juices, fruit and yogurt and a nicely prepared savory plate of cooked breakfast. Our hostess was delightful and very attentive to anything we needed. She also had great tips on several really nice restaurants as well as wineries in the area-there are so many! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. I would highly recommend it!

We have come back now 5 times to stay with Claire and Kelly.  They provide a great experience for us each time.  Greeting us on our arrival with some wine and enjoyable conversation, there is always a fresh supply of Sherry in the room, very comfortable accommodations and Kelly, with him being a professional chef (cooked for Royalty), always impresses us with an outstanding breakfasts. Visit number 6 in June 2023 is already being planned!
