Appartement Skorpion

Skorpion was really good basecamp for us during our stay at Sölden. Only about 100m from the skibus stop and in a walking distance (about 1,5 km) from the Sölden centre. Comfy beds, nice kitchen and very good drying facilites to get our boots and gear nice and dry for the next day. If you come to Sölden by bus, tell the driver to drop you off at Gehörde busstop. Then walk towards the river for about 150 meters and look to your right. There's the Skorpion. If you want to go to Obergurgl for a day, from that same busstop the postbus will pick you up free of charge if you have a skipass. Only minus about this place is the Wifi. It's not free and on our appartment it only worked from time to time and close to the window. So 14€ for a week for a wifi that really doesn't work feels like a rip off. But like I said, that was the ONLY bad thing. Otherwise the place was really nice and the owner is very polite and welcoming.
