Honestly...if we hadn't known that all the other places around here were booked, we wouldn't have stayed here. Access with animals and a nice playground and signs to the campsite, Walters and LaPosch are lovingly designed. Once you land on the campsite, there's discouragement. You won't feel anything left here. Surprising power lines, unattended pitches, a downed ballpark, and everything but a warm welcome to the reception. The generous and partially renovated sanitary facilities are clean, but you could go to the corners again.

Place in good condition that needs improvement

I haven't had such an unfriendly reception at a campsite in a long time. I felt like a beggar from the first minute. Tourists who stay only a few nights are probably more annoying. The place has already passed its best years. Many permanent campsites that are not really maintained. Shower clean but not modern. The power lines are really very disturbing.

Kindness is different

We spent a week there and were very busy. The place is very quiet, right by the creek and super suitable for leisure activities. There's also a restaurant where you can eat great. We'll come back anytime.

It's a very idyllic campsite.

We've often been here for one or two nights. Space is great from the location/view! Very quietly located by the river. The summing of the power lines you can already hear, but normal people shouldn't be bothered by something like this, unless you focus on it all the time. Chef is relatively reserved but tries to be nice. Sanitary facilities are good especially the spacious showers you don't see anywhere else in campsites. It's a shame that you can't drink a beer on the campsite anymore as you used to on the terrace because there is now a restaurant. Even on a trip, children are always happy to be offered free leisure opportunities again!

For a good night's sleep and a good shower.

We were only on a one-night walk through the square. As far as we were concerned, everything was fine. The sanitation facilities were clean and partially modernized. The plots were large and electricity and water were nearby. There was a lot of greenery and trees around. Overall, a very quiet place. Directly across the square is a high-voltage line. This didn't bother us personally. We didn't test the restaurant, so there's no way to judge. Overall, the price-performance ratio fits. I'd like to go back again.

Cheap, clean - for passing

First of all, something important in advance,..... a beautiful website.... but which is nowhere to be seen or on pictures, the two high voltage lines go through the whole square. So it is all the time on the summing (very unfortunate one should also be honest to point out!) The square itself has a beautiful location with the Alpine stream the only thing that destroys this beauty are the said power lines. The mowed grass is also left simply so that you can wear it nicely in the tent and car.....

It's getting better!!! Attention to high voltage wires all over the square

I had reserved a place at the campsite for one night and arrived in the morning with a tent and a bicycle and asked if it was possible to set up my tent or leave my luggage there, because I wanted to do a mountain tour that day (obviously without all my campsite equipment) and would not have come back until the evening. For this, the owner (because of the trip before noon) wanted to charge me an extra night. I refused to thank the headmaster and shortly thereafter in the Alpencamp (perfect location for hikers right at the starting point of the hiking trails and at the ropeway station) I found a friendly campsite.

Greedy Owners

After a long day of driving, we were happy to stumble across Biberhof apartments. 

Check in went smoothly, and we were quickly shown to our spacious room. Double bedroom, bathroom, large balcony, seperated living space/breakfast bar and all required amenities for only 52 Euro! 

We only planned to stay one night, but couldn't get everything we wanted to done in the Zugspitze arena so returned. We were greeted with large smiles, and promptly given the key to our old room again. 

For just outside of the "main hub" there were plenty of things to do and see, and staff were all willing to help as much as possible. 

Highly recommend this apartment set up (for camping and staying in the main house!). Plus,they have the most ADORABLE dogs and huge trampolines!!
