The guesthouse is the perfect accommodation for trekking tours in the beautiful Villgraten valley.

For those seeking rest... the secret tip of Inner Wrinkle

We've been repetitioners since 2008 and we've been coming back to the boarding house more often than not, and when it's only for 4 days to walk in the snow shoes and sauna. From the first minute onwards, we always feel at home. The rich breakfast offer with self-baked bread, cereal, miriegelei tempts us to eat a lot too much and sit for a long time. After a strenuous day, the sauna is the relaxing end. Especially the rooms with balconies towards the river are recommended. Even in winter, we like to sit here in the sun and look at snow and mountains. When you have enough breakfast, you can go to the boarding house in the halloween.

Recovery from the first day

The apartment we were assigned was more residential than a hotel: spacious functional and well equipped spaces, very clean and with a comfortable temperature. Furniture not very new but anything other than dated. Like in a hotel in the morning we were greeted by the most cordial owner who served us an abundant and varied breakfast. After 4 pm there was the wellness center, new and aesthetically pleasing, with sauna, Turkish bath, kneipp and relaxation area; we were lucky enough to enjoy it practically alone.

Charming location in a unique valley with swamps and fabulous woods, just seven kilometers from Sillian, the friendly and friendly owner, a rich breakfast with homemade sweets and local produce, a well-furnished and warm apartment with relaxing views, a very nice spa area, modern, well-kept and confused.

The weekend

Our apartment was delightful with a spectacular mountain view, very clean and well equipped.The strength of this place in addition to the location is the wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation room that all guests can use from about 16 to 20 hours, even after skiing, at no extra cost.

Just perfect.

The very quiet surroundings, the very friendly hotel owners and a very good, typical breakfast of the area.The spa is a luxury with a view of the Alps, perfect place to relax after a long walk!Excellent!

Since years Senfter is a famous place where to sleep among ski-alpinists from Trieste. Very nice and spacious apartments / rooms, fantastic breakfast and reasonable prices make this place my favourite in Villgratental

Fantastic pension in Villgratental

The dilemma: you discover a paradise and you want to keep it for yourself so that it stays as it is. But then others should learn about it. The wilderness valley is something for specialists anyway, especially as long as there is no ski circus listed here. The Pension Senfter is a gem in the midst of superb nature. Quality in everything, simple and gripping. Nothing is a problem. Highlights are the open-end breakfast with many homemade products and, of course, the sauna. Far from the artificial wellness landscapes with mass-production in many large hotels, you can enjoy a lovely environment and a lovely view of the stress-free and peaceful forest here. The best day after a fresh winter's air.

A white, lonely winter landscape welcomes us into the hidden inner-wild grasslands that we've always wanted to visit as lovers of winter sports without skiing and turbulence. The Senfter family home is the ideal place to explore the valley. We've felt at ease here. A highlight and a quiet oasis is the new sauna area, modern and very tasty, including views of sauna and restroom, great showers and outdoors. The holiday home was perfectly situated in the middle of the place but with a clear view over the river on the very top of our mountain No. 1.
